New to saafe & the world of escorting!
« on: 07 February 2017, 08:57:24 pm »
Hello everyone!

A friend recommended me this site & it's already been fantastic to read through. Lots of handy information.

I've been doing porn for 5 or so years & escorting with my husband for the last year (great fun!) but am now wanting to start doing meets on my own & with other girlfriends.

I've got a 'tour' booked in in April with a friend in London & am torn between using <a well-known accommodation site> for the bookings or a hotel? Does anyone have any advice for both?

Thank you  <3

Yes, don't use the well-known accommodation site, the name of which I've edited out. Using hotels or serviced apartments is one thing, turning someone's home into a brothel - as soon as more than one person is offering sex somewhere, it becomes a brothel, illegal to own, run or allow - is quite another.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Oops, thank you for the heads up about the name mentions. Still getting used to the site rules!

And noted, I will take another route, honestly hadn't thought about that so I'm glad I asked. Wouldn't want anyone to get int trouble!

Hi Ian; so would it technically be considered a crime for me and my friend to work together in an apartment working (Sex for money)

Yes, two prostitutes working from the same premises is a brothel. The only person in trouble technically is the person whose name is on the lease/tenancy agreement, but it's not unknown for the other person to be landed with an 'assisting in the management of' charge.

A lot of it depends on where you are, the attitudes of the local police and whether or not you annoy the neighbours.

Hi :)

I too started escorting with my husband, and then started doing solo. It helps a LOT, especially in terms of your partner understanding just how much it is a job. He says to me that escorting together really helped him with feelings of jealousy etc as he understood what was going on.

In terms of hotels; there is a website where you can book now and pay at the venue. It's very handy, as when I go on tour I will only use this method of booking, as it means that if I do not get enough interest in said area or something comes up, I can cancel without being charged (providing it's 24 hours before). The website starts with E; just give it a google and PM me if you need help. Also, feel free to PM if you'd like some advice about solo escorting or anything, happy to help :) x

Hello Sweet Angel, I've been told the same thing by an experienced wg, the letter of the law is exactly as stated above but maybe it's illegal from a technical  point of view but is not enforced in the same way that gay sex was illegal for years but never enforced because parliament never got the law updated and like in the Holbech area of Leeds kirb crawling and street soliciting is legally tolerated and allowed by the authorities within certain times but it's still technically illegal

Could it be that two girls in one apartment is allowed and nobody would get arrested for it?

Other interesting laws I've just discovered from my google research that you might find amusing:

As of 1313, for example, it has been illegal to enter the Houses of Parliament wearing a suit of armor - which surely hasn't been a likelihood in centuries.
And since 1939, it has been against the law to carry a plank along a pavement
In Scotland, on the other hand, it is apparently still illegal to turn someone away if they knock on your door and ask to use your loo.
