I'm sure the classified section is free but think you have to have your own website with their banner link on it.

I too have free advertising on Plink but have always displayed their banner on my website. The free advert is pretty good though, a nice profile and plenty of options, not costing a penny!

plink.co.uk you mean?

It's better to have your site, but not necessarily, just put your email and phone on listing and all ok.

I get a few referrals. Most men who phone me I ask where they found my number and the majority say through AW but some find my site via Plink or just a google search.

Being low volume now I am not really interested in advertising here there and everywhere as have no need or desire for multiple bookings a week.

Lots of good reasons to have your own site, including reciprocal banner ads.

[not Justine, obviously] I've also been on there for as long as I've advertised online and I do get emails mentioning it - I think they've been pushing the SEO a lit since they revamped the site a while back. They now have a ridiculously long (and fairly bizarre) FAQ section which I filled in as a pisstake thinking nobody much would realistically see it, and it's subsequently got me a fair few bookings on it's own ;D.

Yep.

Yes that long winded Q & A part of our profiles is over the top and I got bored before half way filling it in but it is done and as it's free to me I can't really complain.

What does annoy me is I say clearly more than once on there to please contact me via my phone number and not send emails from Plink. As we know some men do not read the important (to us) bits of our profiles and I just ignore emails sent via there. Strangely they never email a second time or ring me.  ::)
