What I was trying to say is how can you feel as though you don’t have enough time each day to answer enquires but do have time for bookings, if enquires take 30 minutes here and there each day.
believe I'm saying it now after 2-3 years of working this job when doing 10h a week admin work (putting ads, working on my site, working on seo, answering emails, etc.) each week for the past 2-3 years. Having serious fatigue problems because of that.
If you’re really spending 10h a week on admin, are booked a week in advance, seem busy enough, do you really need to be spending so much time on ads, website, seo etc? Maybe you’re doing too much and in turn you are receiving too many enquires that you cant cope with or even need.
I’m just looking from the outside in, in a business management sense. It seems as though you don’t have the balance quite right.
I’m very busy. I hoe 6 days a week, have an office job 3 days a week, assist my OH on the running of his business, have a life to live outside of all of that, etc etc. We are all very busy and sometimes we just need to organise effectively. I would be using the incall days, in between clients, to get admin done. Seems a waste of time to be sat in a room doing nothing productive.
But I do understand where you’re coming from. Sometimes it is all too much and seems like there is 100 things on the to do list that never ends. I’ve felt like this too and I’ve realised that I need to restructure how I do things.
I just wouldn’t want you gettin an assistant to deal with your enquires or book clients in for you to then up in a sticky situation due to someone else not vetting your client correctly. It’s your safety. You can’t put a price on that!
Maybe see if you can re-jiggle a few things in order for you to have enough time for admin
