No review policy

What are your thoughts on having a "No review policy" in your advertising?

Would mentioning this only give oxygen and provoke the clowns to post reviews?

I would rather not have any exposure in these places, neither positive nor negative.

Not using the AW booking form means they can't leave feedback comments or reviews on your profile there (it isn't the reason I don't use it, but it's a factor for some people).

As far as reviews on other sites go I think it would be completely counterproductive; the vast majority of punters have never heard of them and wouldn't have a clue about (or any interest in) doing so - you'd just be drawing attention and making them curious. The rest will view attempts to dictate what they do online like a red rag to a bull and be more likely to do the opposite (and so would I, to be honest).

Just in case we all need yet another reminder, discussion of other forums, their content and their members is off topic here and will be removed :)

Yes, you're right.
Better to maintain dignified ignorance. Thanks, Amy!

I don't care for reviews.  In my many years of working, only a couple of people have asked me if they wanted a review written up and I politely told them no.  One of the guys told me about some sites where men post feedback and recommendations; and if that's what they get off on than that's up to them.

Clients will book you based on their personal tastes and services they are seeking.  I know some women like them and it's up to you.

Some clients do check and read reviews though. Up to you.

You can't stop them reviewing you and trying to tell them they can't will probably just make them more likely to. You just have to accept being reviewed is part of the job. It's not like you have to read them if you don't want to.

When I started I did get asked why no reviews, but in time I got a few so that is no longer an issue.

As others have said if you book by phone the option of a review doesn't arise.

If a client says he will do a review when inquiring about a booking, the chances are he is a time waster and the meet never happens.

Touch wood I have never had a poor review, but good reviews don’t mean you see the client again.

When I first started and got a few glowing reviews/feedbacks I thought wow and was thrilled. That changed after a while when a man who seemed to have a great time with me then wrote 'nice lady and had a pleasant meet' or similar words. I was so disappointed and felt somewhat deflated.  I then came to my senses and decided to concentrate on doing my best as usual plus over time I took less and less new clients so the booking form method was dwindling anyway as return clients just phoned or sent texts.

Currently my clients are made up of around 90% regulars and as for reviews, I couldn't give a #### 🙄😁

In the past I have had punters be indiscrete when writing reviews either about me or my incall location, one went into great detail not particularly complementary about his own hotel,  making it obvious where we met. Another years ago when I was in a different town more or less placed my property, over described parking and route to the door.

Annoying thing is majority of those who book me know privacy and discretion is important, and some of the indiscrete reviews were written by people who had had a chat with me about discretion, sensitive area etc.

Exactly, Mirror, that's my main issue.
I had a situation where a client was so careful about his own privacy that wouldn't even give me his phone number. I vetted him by contacting other escorts who saw him.
That same man had no problem later describing my incall. When I emailed him about it, he said it was because it was helpful for the punters.

Of course, why would he care about the safety of some escort when he could score brownie points with his pals.

I'm so pissed off something similar happened to me recently. The twats shouldn't be allowed to describe anything specific about the location. Just say whether it's a good/bad area, easy to find etc

Putting reviews of me on these forums ,some people have put really inaccurate information about the location I'm working or far too much information about the hotel which was too detailed and caused issues

After 10 years of still not bothering to read reviews I think all news is good news, bad reviews still lead people to check you out same way asking men not to leave a review will pique their curiosity to find out more. I have never sweated it once and my phone still rings.
