Well he hasn't plagiarised anything and he knows he can't use my photos because I own the copyright, so all that's left is a brief, meaningless summary with some incorrect stuff about services. There's not really anything there to get him on, andnobody who finds the ad is ever likely to get a booking - I doubt anybody's even seen it, although in a smaller place I can see it might get annoying.

While the rest is infuriating (and the site seems now to have some link with Escort Ranking, which is one of our regular content thieves thread subjects) without any actual plagiarism it's difficult to see any reason the hosting company would do anything bar maybe compelling them to ask for permission before adding people? Being a repulsive, misogynistic dinosaur who apparently thinks it's still 1982 is not against any rules.

On the other hand if we're saying that any website which contains stuff we don't like should be taken down just because we don't like it we're heading down a very dark path, and I'm having nothing to do with it.

I think the problem here is that site is misrepresenting itself as a listing/advertising site when it's really just a load of old shit he's cobbled together from other websites plus Adultwork, with his worthless 'reviews' whether he's met the women concerned or not.

If he's plagiarised text, infringed copyright or otherwise acted outwith the law then there's action can be taken but very little if he hasn't. As above, being a twat online isn't an offence - if was the internet would be a very quiet place

What we can do is keep threads like this going (which shows up in Google) and make it clear to punters that the 'listings' are nothing to do with us and we have no say in them. Most punters who have heard of him (and the number will be decreasing by the day) are well aware he's a tosser anyway.

We're the ones advertising and selling a service, so it is the customers who 'vet' us and not the other way round - if it wasn't then Tripadvisor would be a lot more entertaining than it is
