Hello

Am new to this board and would really like some advice

I used to do escorting in Australia for a while it was fun and i enjoyed it, But in Australia you need to have a medical check every 3 months and there is a place where you go to get yr condoms and stuff and also to have a website it was a good idea to have a Australian business number.

My questions are

1. Am starting out for the first time in london would it be better to do in calls or out calls
2. Would I need to have a business number or contact inland revenue about this and if so what do i say do i tell them stairght that am an escort.
3. Would u think it would  be better to have a site? and if so how much do they start from??
4. Do ladies that are starting out adversite in the newpapers or on websites or both?
5. What areas are Okay to do escorting? I mean is Heathrow  okay
6. Is there a place that i have to go to to get my condoms and stuff


Thats all i have at the moment

1. There's a market for both. There's information about both types of working on the main saafe site ("ways of working", "keeping yourself safe", "outcalls", "hiring a driver")  and on other threads in this forum (search for "incalls"). We all have different preferences when it comes to this.

2. Prostitution is not regulated here, but you should pay tax. Just tell HMRC that you want to register as self-employed. It's up to you whether you register as an escort or something else as cover. As long as you declare your earnings, they don't care.

3. A lot of ladies only advertise online now, we feel that it gets us a better standard of clients and we like not having to go through our appearance and services with every caller. Plenty of others still like using the newspapers, either exclusively or along with their websites. Websites take some initial setup but take some of the hassle out of work thereafter. Newspaper ads are very quick to set up and more anonymous. I made my own site, so I can't tell you much about prices. You can do perfectly well with a free template-based site (either escort orientated like rare-escorts, or generic like moonfruit), though it's nice to have your own.

4. Either or both, it's up to you.

5. Airports are popular and Heathrow seems to have some of the highest rates in the country.

6. You don't have to, but GUM clinics and outreach projects will give you free condoms if you want. The easiest way to stock up is to order in bulk online, I only have to buy mine once or twice a year.

Not much left to say apart from 'hello' after that reply :) but filling in the gaps...

There are no compulsory health checks and similarly no regulation as to services (some Australian states insist on things like using condoms for oral, don't they, or is that just in brothels?)

There are several specialist clinics for sex workers, and several others have 'fast-tracking' services: say the right magic word and you'll get a quicker appointment.

I'm not sure if they're still around, but for at least a couple of years there was a group of men near Heathrow who would pretend to be an agency and offer a pile of money for an overnight session with several men at a hotel. Alas, several women fell for it. The men would be unpleasant during the night, then rob her in the morning.

In Australia you must use a condom and dental dams

I have a few questions so on a website do u have to put in yr real age if if u don't look yr age.
Is it best to rent a service apartment and if i do that are receptionist more likely to call the police people they see people coming in and out or they don't care.

How quick is it to set up being an escort

And when you have a template site or a website do u have to offer a lower price because yr new or can u offer a low price then once you feel a lot comfy can you start to rise the price up does that make sense.

And also How would i find out all the different meaning of words like CIM etc etc.

This is one of those 'it's up to you' questions and different things work for different people. See elsewhere here, for example.

If the owner knows you're going to be working there, they tend to either charge you silly rents or throw you out. It shouldn't be difficult to find somewhere, but London rents aren't cheap and do you want to effectively have a series of freebies to pay someone else's mortgage before you start making a profit yourself? There are lots of hotels in the Heathrow area, so there can be lots of 'hotel outcall' work, or you can book a room yourself.
