First booking a bust :(

So I went through everything. Screened client, made sure I knew exactly what he wanted, he accepted the rates & I went through how the meet up would work & then right at the end he says 'Oh, you're based in ***, I thought you were based in ***** that's a two hour drive from me' to which I reply 'no, all my adverts clearly state I'm based here'. So goodbye booking #1, the wait begins again :(

Sadly chick, when you are new it attracts all the time wasters.  But you will quickly be able to spot a few of them with practice.  We all go through this so don't beat yourself up about it.

Give it a few weeks and you will develop a very good instinct for how they talk, questions they ask etc.  and you will soon be booking in genuine clients.

You are doing the right think in waiting and screening your potential clients. Don't rush or take a booking in hast.

ps are you getting your profile viewed and marketed?
