My implants been fine im in the last 6 months till i need to get it changed which i am not looking forward to one bit!

I have had problems recently with continual bleeding but i had that before, Im booked to have a scan in a couple of weeks, I dont think there's any point but i'll go anyway for peace of mind.

They've tried to talking me into the coil alot but I am like no friggen way, I webcam 7 days a week that is an unnatural time to spend down there to have the coil just a little bit of plastic bloody string away. I can also see the bit of string being a bad idea round condoms etc so its always been a no for me as much as being period free really does appeal lol

The implant in terms of practicalness is the best for me 

I'm happy being on the Yasmin contraceptive pill. I get no side effects and it helps deal with my acne.

I did have the coil fitted and it was the worst decision ever: non-stop really heavy bleeding, which led me to become aenemic (it was just non-stop and a crazy amount!), my legs were constantly going numb and I could always feel it inside me. It was nightmarish. The relief when I had it removed!

I've thought about the implant, but I like having a period once a month - pregnancy paranoia would get too much for me!

when you get it you get a card with the date to get it changed and that's 3 years. I'm sure if the NHS really thought they could stretch it they would so if it doesn't do as well past 3 years then 3 years it is 

Very true, and a very sensible way of looking at it. Maybe it's time I admitted to myself I'm half hoping to have an "accident" - with my boyfriend of course, if a condom split with a client (touch wood it never has!)  it'd be emergency contraception straight away.
