I saw a client last night who seen me before and he left a expensive ring here as my guarantee. I told him if he doesn't come to pay me he was due tonight I will cash it in at cash converters.

Well guess what he can't make it but he says please don't cash it in. My patience are running low it was a 2000Euro ring.

I told him the extra would be added interest for being dishonest. it has a few diamonds in.

I extended until Saturday as he is paying me for a 90 minute booking too coming for. This was what was agreed.

Am I being too soft for extending for him to be honest to pay me? What would you do?.

Unless I was trained in jewellery valuation I don't think I'd be game enough to take a clients word that the ring was worth enough to cover the booking.

However, if I were you in this situation I'd honour the extension as well as get it valued. The best outcome for everyone is that he pays up and gets his ring back, so no I don't think you're being too soft.

I could tell someone i keep a unicorn in my basement.....why would you think just coz a client tells you this super duper ring is worth a fortune? if he was any decent client he would have turned up with the correct fee in the 1st place  my guess is the ring is worth fuck all

Yes you would look funny say this all comes to a good ending. Don't worry I will annonce not long now hunny.  Then it just shows yoy have lost faith in all men unlike me.

ul be fucked if lets say you do pawn it and get done for receiving stolen goods lol last time i checked meets were paid in cash
