Most hotel room doors I've experienced have self closing mechanisms which mean you cannot leave them ajar.

If you found a hotel where you could leave the door slightly open, I would worry about someone else coming in before your client gets there.

Looking through the spy hole you can see if there is more than one guy there before you open the door. 

How would you make sure the door is closed properly by the client after entering as he'll be focused on 'other things'? lol.

I really wouldn't advise leaving the door open. A part of your safety involves checking that there is only one person entering the room. Word would quickly spread how you operate and those intent on causing harm will use this to their advantage.
I have heard of pop up glory holes, but it's usually 2 wg's who tour together.

Maybe a good idea would be to rent a 2 bedroom apartment (and 2 bathrooms if possible) and have a partner with you in your apartment, she could open the door if she is available and she is happy to help. Also, this way you would share expenses.

I do not think it's a good idea to leave the door open either.

I agree with everything you say. It is just a stupid idea in a hotel and can bring dangers.

Only way where this thing can work better if it is properly organised like someone else lets the man in and gets the money then he goes in and he can not see the woman and sticks his penis through the hole anonymously.

I think that is why glory holes work good when it is a proper set up like in a swinging party or something where they have rooms to do this in where it connects a hole to next room etc.

The hotel situation sounds like madness to me.
