I just have a regular fan on top of table, seems to work fine. I'm not too bothered by the heat and humidity but I have noticed my clients are still sweaty even after a shower. I also keep the window open to create a breeze. I'm not a fan of A/C and would not buy it for a few days a year. My flat does keep fairly cool though compared to outside.

I have a big floor fan, get a good breeze even on low.

Although I am a weirdo who basically has her window open all year round cause its too hot.

I too have a floor fan that's powerful but not much heat here in Belfast this summer. The cold nights are already here.

Tower fan and back door is always open. The fan is brilliant.

Yesterday where I'm based for in call was horrible. No fan :FF
Glad for the cooler weather / rain today.
Anyone else much prefer working when it's not scorching outside?
I think it's my OCD that kicks in, but getting ready for a client when it's humid and sticky indoors bugs me. And then the client sweating allover me on top of that  :-X

Have a look in Wickes - they're selling an oscillating tower fan for £50. It's the bomb. Really easy to transport and takes up hardly any floor space. It was an absolute lifesaver this weekend in a hotel with no aircon.

It's not nice is it.  ::)
Hair and make up usually goes bad unless fan on air-conditioning.
Clients can shower if they have time too as I appreciate they want to be fresh well the nice cleans ones.
Others don't care  :FF

Oh my goodness this has just reminded me of a booking my duo
Partner and I had about this time last year, it happened to be the hottest May day on record, and there we were in a hotel room that had no A/C dressed head to toe in PVC! Our clothes were literally dripping wet when we took them off! So from then on I only book rooms with A/C!

You can get some fab spray cooling mist from the pound shop! It’s a lifesaver!

OMG, what does everyone else do ? it's just so hot and it really affects my performance.  What does everyone do to keep cool ?  I guess at least we don't wear many clothes generally ! I had a guy book me for 2 hours the other day, I said just 1 will do me !!

A client had booked an hour he walked out after 20 minutes claiming the hotel room was too humid.

I think he was being fussy mind.  Air con is definitely a plus in these hotel rooms though!

Next week I def. have air con.

At least he didn't demand a refund.
