Nora is right in my view. Hating the job can come at any time, after years of full volume work and thinking you will always love it. Then suddenly feeling you want to run away from it all. Or steady flow of bookings without overdoing things and then one day it hits you that you can not bear another man knocking on your door.

I have known sps give it up after a few weeks of enduring what they thought was easy money coupled with a fantastic lifestyle (no need to get out of bed at 7am to battle the commuter journey and work all day for a living wage). They realised that sex for money brings along all kinds of men they may at first find themselves able to endure for an hour or so but before long they dread it all.

My experience has allowed me to meet quite a few other sps and their honesty to me was quite sad to hear. One in particular had already been working for several years when I started and she hated the work. Determined to get out of the business made her work all the hours she could possibly do but she was not wise with her earnings and moved hundreds of miles away to escape her troubles in this area.  I know she is still working all these years later and we have lost touch as friends but I sometimes wonder how her mental health is now.
