hi

my hubby get peed off because i'm thinking of getting some outfits for work and he feesl i dress for clients but not for him.

anyone else have that problem

Well your husband should realise that you have to put some effort into your appearance when people are paying large sums of money to see you, and also that starting and running a business requires some money to be spent. That said, I don't think that many punters are too bothered about fancy dress type costumes unless it's something that you specifically advertise (and I specifically advertise that I don't own or wear anything like that, so I freely admit my views are a bit skewed :)).

I don't think that means you shouldn't make an effort when you're with your husband, but I do think you need to stop comparing the two situations - work and home are two completely different things. If you were a teacher and spent the week in a classroom surrounded by children, that wouldn't change how much you look forward to coming home and spending time with your own child, would it?

.. just make sure they're different.

Actually most of the thread could be summed up by that.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

One is sex, its work and the other is emotions, feelings, love and intimacy. It's different, its the little things you do together that separate the two, its the things that you only do with your partner that make it different. It's making love and being intimate.

My sex drive isn't what it would be if I wasn't having sex with other men, however I make sure any private life partner gets me as I am - no dressy dressy, and none of that 'I'm here for you, you've paid me a large sum of money so I will give you absolute undivided attention".

I have sex when I want, and it's leisurely, not timed and not designed to fit a timescale or plan. Private life partners also know I might not always want to have sex. Luckily the person I have been involved with understands this and has said he purposely tries not to be demanding(although I know he wants me whenever I'm ready). ;D

Me and my partner have a great relationship and we don't have a lot of sex.
I think we're both happy with the intimacy we have just on a day to day basis with cuddling etc.
When we do have sex, it's entirely different. It's like a completely different experience. It's not just the 'connection', I actually have fun when we're having sex.
I do however hate giving him blowjobs now because it does just remind me of work.

I don't live with my partner though. I think I would be answering this question very differently if we did.

I actually found this too! Not so much that I hate it but just that the smell and feel and everything of giving him a blowjob (I didn't see him for a while after I started work) immediately took me back to work for the initial minute

When I started working again whilst seeing my ex, my sex drive completely died & he noticed.
Didn't seem to be able to separate the 2 any more - sex = work and think I felt guilty so disconnected.
But, yes, it's completely different making love with someone who wants the real you and someone you love and very hard to get people to understand that sometimes.

I find that my sex life is a lot more boring due to being use to doing it almost everyday for a living..
I actually have learned to train myself like as if it's almost nothing while I'm with a client.. Almost as if I can block it out.
Although what I do find is that I can only actually enjoy my sex life outside of work only if I really have some sort of attachment to the person and really want to have sex with them.
