Client has no money/refuses to pay?
« on: 10 March 2013, 04:28:43 am »
Mhmmh sorry may i ask in this cases what should be the right behavior to follow?
If this chap would use force, and take his money back after having being serviced in a proper massage shop, then i guess it will be considered like a robbery?
As sex workers are we protected in some ways?
Can the police or crimestoppers be called in such a cases?

I am a Tv transvestite, and It happened to me only once. An Asian/Brit guy agreed for my fee, over the phone, and when he got naked on the bed I reminded him to pay for his money first.. he said he had only had 20gbp, so i politely told him to dress up and go. He got very upset, and at that point i took off my wig and bra, to remind him am a man who dressed as a lady, and things got better.
I also reminded him the reason why i made him stand before the Pub, and that was cos the Pub has cctv, therefore his face had being recorded. He apologised, i made him pay for my time wasting 10gbp and went out quietly.

Jenny (and everybody else) I've split this from the 'Manny' thread and moved it here because we don't allow general discussion in the Warnings section - it's for specific warning information only :).

Prostitution is not illegal in the UK, and anybody who is a victim of an offence can and should go to the police - if nothing else it helps to prevent offenders doing the same thing to others (part of the reason sex workers can be targeted for robberies is because the robbers think we won't/can't report it). You can also report any incidents anonymously to National Ugly Mugs, which is free and easy to sign up to - they will pass on your report to the police if you want, but it isn't compulsory.

If a punter turns out to have no money or refuses to pay (and this is yet another good reason to always get payment up front) then the only thing you can really do is politely ask him to leave, call/text your security buddy if necessary and deal with it all as calmly as possible - most of these are just opportunists and don't want a confrontation and the chances of it turning nasty are thankfully pretty small. Whilst they might be thieves and/or wankers, the vast majority are not going to be rapists.

Yep, you did the right things - the chancer got lost and you didn't get hurt.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

I make it a point to always get the money from the Client BEFORE they take their clothes off - and I will politely tell them so too if they try to get naked first.
If there's a problem with them paying my rate and I want them to leave it's going to be easier and quicker if they've still got their clothes on. Waiting while they get dressed gives them too much time to think up excuses and/or to formulate a plan. If there's an issue I want them the other side of a locked door with the absolute minimum of a delay!
