Getting a Civvy Job
« on: 24 September 2024, 05:55:59 pm »
Hi, have only gone and got myself a part time music teacher job. I am concerned that my past work will catch up on me. Thinking should I close my AW account? Feel that agencies have ways of finding things out beyond what google etc might show.

Any advice would be most welcome.

Always always blur your face, tattoos, no mention of your other music job to clients and there’s no reason for them to find your AW profile.

This depends if you show your face or not / tattoos? Unfortunately it's easy for people to reverse image search photos and put them through a AI facial reconfiguration site and it will find your photos online.

Always use completely separate photos for work, blur face , hide tattoos etc. And keep social media closed off. There was a case in the papers not so long ago a primary teacher got caught on aw by some dad (the cheek), and he reported her to the school. But she was advertising as escorting, and making movies with tattoos and face in.

If you are on aw, remember other sites lift your profile so do a search of your escort images and see if they come up on other directories.

If you are showing face in any of them , then remove straight away, close down profile and start a new one with new blurred face photos.

No reason why you can't do teaching and escort work. Just don't tell clients about your teacher job or don't tell friends/ relatives about escort job, takes one loud mouth person to tell other mums at school and next thing you're fired! Don't want to scare you but it can happen.

I would advise completely cropping out your face. Some people might be skilled enough to un-blur.

Crop out any of the background in pics too. And I echo shutting off social media completely.

Cut your digital footprint to nothing.

I was teaching when I first started escorting and in a promoted post.

As long as you are aware there is a real risk of exposure then I would just get on with it and not worry.

One of my Year 8’s dads booked me for an outcall. It came out in conversation. He didn’t report me as it would have been admitting to booking an escort.

I found it quite amusing at the time.

I've had a civvy job for 8 years now.I have  Even lived abroad in another country and got a whole new citizenship.
I'm considering dabbling back in the world of escorting at the moment. But to answer your question, there is no reason at all why anyone would ever find out. If you are going to continue to escort while working then make sure you don't work anywhere close to where your legit job is and definitely crop your face and any really identifiable tattoos out.  I've had full background checks, crim record checks for work as well. Unless you have a criminal record linked to what you do, I would say you are ok.
