Escorting on rainy days
« on: 06 December 2023, 07:45:04 pm »
Hey girlies, I've noticed the past 6 years that i''ve been escorting that I'm never busy when its a rainy day. whether its drizzle or heavy rain, I don't get many enquiries or bookings. I'm based in the city of London and Heathrow and its the same for both areas. Is it the same for you girlies?

it sucks as it rains half the year in the UK lol.

I'm in an area known for rain and a range of extreme weather conditions.

I've had punters cancel due to good weather, others due to a little rain.

What is interested are the people who ask me to travel when the county is cut off due to severe storms (trees on roads type), ice, very thick snow making roads impassable. The requests come from people who tell me they are 'stuck' or snowed in. Also worth knowing the roads usually aren't gritted and are not nice straight motorways, and there's zero public transport.

They seem to hope I'm next door.

I totally agree Sugarkaramel, in my experience there's a strong correlation between rainy days and fewer incall booking requests. On sunny days though, libido seems to soar and business is generally good. I think it's not just due to the practicality of getting to a booking in the pouring rain as even on webcam things are quieter on wet days but on sunny days much better, regardless of the temperature.

Mirror yes, I've had a few extreme weather outcall requests too which are baffling....

I don't find it makes much difference unless it's absolutely torrential, but I'm very close to a station and there are plenty of doorways and so on where they can wait out of the weather. The heat is worse, but that's more because I don't want to work :D

I have virtually stopped offering outcalls, but find parking at a Hotel and handling the clutter on an umbrella, coat etc is a chore.

Clients that arrive with wet coats etc are a chore, I always make them take their shoes off in the hallway, and some have wet socks, I hate that!

It’s just my personal opinion but I think we can come up with any reason under the sun as to whether we are quiet or not. In 10 years I’ve never seen a pattern and rain has never stopped my busy days.
I’ve even watched punters traipse through snow for a shag.
We have busy days and quiet days and that’s just the way it is.

I have been busy on rainy and windy days and quiet on sunny ones.

Yes, I'm always quiet on rainy days. The prebooked clients always turn up though whatever the weather. I never get new enquiries though when it's wet.

Ha! I had at least 3 ridiculous requests like this last Saturday from the central Lakes area. I need to get some kind of jet pack for these occasions.
