So I'm here for day 2 of my new part time job and I just find it so boring. It's 4 days a week and the lack of transport here is a nightmare and I don't drive. Start at 11am today yet had to set off out of the house at 9.30am. I feel like just quitting and doing my escorting mon-fri but I just don't know if it's a good idea. One day whether I like it or not I'll have to do just s normal job so I think I should just force myself to do the part time job but it just drags cause it's soo boring. Hard to motivate myself to do 5 hours for minimum wage when I can do an hours booking and earn the whole weeks work at my normal job. Hhmmfff, don't know what to do for the best =/

Hi SC,
Sorry you are in the situation you are. I don't know your location but that might have something to do with transport/travelling to work.
What you have done though has got to be the biggest decision anyone takes when transitioning from whoring to a "normal" paying job.
We are used to having things our own way and doing things when/if we want and work when/if we want. With a structured job life is not like that :(. we are answerable to others in many cases in "normal" life.
Perhaps it is simply the job you don't like. If it was me I would look for a job in another industry, one in which I was interested. In that way you may find a job that you enjoy more.
Give time time and if the boredom continues look elsewhere. Good luck.

Have you considered going to college/uni? If you are a mature student they pay for the course and you get the student loan.
I was quids in when I did it! PLUS you get travelling expenses.
You could do your escorting in the meantime. Also uni is often only 3 days a week (or 4) for a full time course. When you have re trained you could do a job you actually enjoy. (I am making the assumption you are mature but if not and you're over 18 it still counts).
I'm the other way round. want to escort full time but make so much money at my job I've got a long way to go before I can give it up. It's awful when you're heart's not in, I know. I trained for years but that's just life.
Good luck.

I'd keep plodding away with the part time job....I think it's better to keep a foot in the real world, however much we might not want to, for so many reasons - cover story to friends and family, avoiding a massive gap in your CV and keeping your sanity to name but a few!
But that's just my opinion. I'd like to give my full time job up to go part time, and hopefully if I keep on earning at the same level as I am at the moment I'll be able to, but I wouldn't give my job up to escort full time.

Right guys, I've took the plunge cause after posting this I got given my rota and next week let's just say they've given me full time hours and the weeks I have got part time hours, well long story short I'd be losing money working there. Thanks to limited travel I'd have to pay for taxis to get there sometimes (you're looking at 12quid at least) and the buses I can get a have to wait a whole hour after work as that's when it's due. It's just a massive pain in the arse for a part time job, as I say, I'd be losing money. Gunna look for another part time job that's more accessible to me so not giving up on the working front but I enjoy escorting and the money it brings in so I refuse to struggle to get to work and back hanging around for hours for buses and let it skint me at the same time and lose bookings. Hope I've done the right thing x
