So Escort-Scotland have changed their advertising rates from ?50 to ?80 but as I pay with UKash vouchers, they charge ?92 for this and so far they are the only company who charges 15% for UKash vouchers but they told me it's not them who charges it, it's UKash who charges it. I haven't looked into it so they may be genuine but I've never been charged 15% with any other website.

Moving on......I just received a phone call saying that they are starting a new type of advertising where you pay to be on the front page for 1 HOUR GUARANTEED!!!! Which to me doesn't seem like much and depending on how much traffic the site gets during the hour your advert is on the front page you will be charged minimum ?10 and maximum ?50 

So in short you could be getting charged ?50 per hour for 1 hours advertising on top of the rates!

I told them that I wouldn't be willing to spend ?50 on an advert just because the site is getting a lot of traffic because look at how many lurkers you get on the site then there's all the guys who won't like my profile because I don't advertise the services they require and then there's the clients who I may not want to meet with for one reason or another so once you weed out all that stuff, is it really worth it??

I have suggested to them loads of times that the best thing is like the way adult work do it, it is up to us to keep updating our profile in order to stay at the top of the list but they haven't taken that on board.

Beginning to think the site is getting greedy since their rates have jumped up a hell of a lot. A year ago it was ?20 a week to advertise with them then it jumped up to ?30 a week and now it's ?50 a week.

In Ireland they charge about ?90 a week because of the traffic on the Irish site but again traffic on the site does not mean automatic bookings and Ireland is the worst place for timewasters etc.

Just to be clear this is ?50 per hour per day they want! Which is total madness! I think they think that we all work like a conveyor belt seeing 10 guys a day. I see 2 a day, 3 maximum and that's me fully booked. The expenses we have is already very high so this is just madness.

For all the escorts who advertise on there who don't pay this crazy fee then I guess it's safe to say we'll never be on the front page again!

I've used them a few times but I'm not keen on them as their prices are ridiculous.

Plus because I cover different areas and don't do regular Incalls I like to have the ability to change my location etc myself rather than hope someone changes it in time.

For 50 quid or there abouts you could do an advert in the sport

It says on the marketing email I got from them this morning that on Escort England it's (from) ?5 per hour, and with Escort Scotland it's (from) ?10, so it would be ?50 a week if you did it for an hour a day, five days a week.

Entirely unsurprisingly, on Escort Ireland it's double that at 25e/?20. There's a shock .

I Spoke with EI this morning the same company. The more established ES get equals a higher price similar to reasons escorts bumping their prices. This is no different to be expected but we have a choice to pay them or not.

Well I'd stick my neck out and say that anybody hoping to get any work in most parts of Ireland without paying them doesn't have a lot of choice, although I agree about Scotland. I posted a touring ad on there once when I was going to Inverness and Edinburgh, and I think I got one booking from it.

They have an advertising thread here, so maybe they'll come along and explain it to us. It's not as if the folk in that section normally pass up a chance to threadbump, apart from anything else .

A couple of years ago yes it was ?30 per month, and that was ok, tho I never found I got much business after the first week (when you were on the front page for a while).

I find their rates now disproportionate - I mean even a Punterlink Gallery Ad is ?60 pcm (outside of London).  I was considering advertising with them again since I've returned to Scotland but ?90 a month, just damm greedy especially with the new front page charge as well!

My feeling is they are going to lose business as their prices have shot up so much in the past 2 years, yes we earn good money in comparison to a lot of professions, but the recession affects us too, so I think many of us will opt out of using ES and advertise elsewhere, somewhere where you get a better return too.

And the fact that it doesn't work in every area of Scotland doesn't help. I tried it and didn't even get any timewasters calling never mind any bookings.

That made me chuckle not even any timewasters means its really not working......
