Over 30 is mature?? OMG! I'm 25 and advertise as 19 or 21 depending. I always thought 30 was the average age and were really 35 year old women and that mature was like late 40's. I think when I hit 35 I'm going to advertise as 25, if my luck with my looks hasn't run out by then Lol.
So anyway this BBW has been confusing me for ages. I don't class myself as a BBW but I am a curvy/fat bird as the OH calls me! Lol. I'm only 5.8ft and with a B cup chest but I'm a size 16 with a 36(b)back Lol. So does that make me a BBW. I suppose it does actually although I don't have the big boobs, I have the big booty and thighs though and the belly too! Lol. Natalie Xx
More people have been slaughtered in the name of religion than for any other single reason. That, my friends, that is true perversion.

I have been thinking about this for a while and I'm glad someone asked!

I am a size 12 on the waist, and a 14 on the hip and I am a 32F. I have been described as rubenesque etc, and have debated about advertising on bbw sites. I have no idea what I am classed as! Some men have complimented me on not being slim, which took me by surprise having never considered myself big, but now I am thinking it might be a good way of getting extra custom from those men loving the curves...

I do worry that if someone sees me advertised as that they might be disappointed with a 30" waist though...

It's so crazy, isn't it? I don't consider a size 14 big, not at all. Society has odd standards, doesn't it? x

It does indeed! Even in real life I find it tricky to see where I "fit in" to the various body classifications people always want to place on ladies. I have little fat on my middle, but I couldn't possibly describe myself as slim! Still, I have found that having natural curves is as fun as being petite, after all, you cannot exercise your way to massive bewbs! :D

I think the secret is to just market yourself however you're comfortable. If you think you'll increase your business by slapping BBW on your profile then go for it - but if the term makes you unhappy then dont.

For what its worth though I've had clients complain that I'm smaller than they thought I would be - and I weigh over 35 stone!

just go over to uk punting  and read the post on are some escorts to fat to escorts that will put you all straight on what bbw is    ;D. ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=4903.0

i class myself as being curvy /curvaceous  but not bbw  as everything is in proporption  but im not a slim/skinny     i have a smallish waist and large hips and bust but luckily with the help of a good surgeon  and  a mini tummy tuck a very flat tight stomach  which offsets everything   Im not really tall at  5ft 6   and 5ft 9 with heels so can carry of any weight reasonably well if wearing heels and my weight while ive always struggled with it it dosnt fluctuate hugely

remember that Marylin Monroe was a size 16  so would in theory be classed as a bbw  by some people standards

i think personally bbw is when your over a  size 18 /20 and with a bigger stomach /boobs  and dare i say it rolls of obvious fat , but again its all relelvant to the persons height and bone structure

if your 5ft nothing and a size 16 /18/20  then yes a bbw i would assume but if your 5ft 7 or 5ft 10  and a size 16 then your most likely to be  in proportion and well built woman

Edited to remove direct link - anyone wanting to read or join in discussions on punting boards please go there and do it.

Marilyn Monroe was a US size 16, which is equivalent to a UK 12. Also clothes were cut very differently then and the sizing was a lot smaller. She was probably equivalent to a today size 10-12.

Like yourself Paris, Marilyn had a beaautiful hourglass figure. Her size fluctuated during her lifetime, but her measurements are most commonly given in the range of 36-24-34 to 38-23-36. (bust-waist-hips). Marilyn was 5' 5 and 1/2" tall and weighed 117 pounds when she died, according to the coroner's report.

A Primark size 10 varies massively to a Dior/Chanel size 10

Flattery works wonders on the high street!

On a side note, I was a size 5 shoe my whole adult life and suddenly even a size 4 is big on me. I am either shrinking dramatically or kidology is being played again   :-\

That's strange...I was a size 5 my whole life and now I'm a 6 or even  a  7?
