That's interesting. As an erotic masseuse  I  told my doctor about my occupation and he strongly reccomended to get a Herpes vaccine (it gets transmitted skin to skin and you can get it just by touching someone's genitals -assuming he has an outbreak in that moment, which is something difficult to detect-). I only offer HR so he didn't see any need of getting other type of vaccines.  I've been doing this many years and besides the odd flu  I've never been sick. He did warn me against giving  HR whenever I had small cut in my hand or fingers and told me when that happened to cover my hand with a latex glove.
Mornings were made for sleeping, wild sex and bacon.

If you work in a sexual health clinic you can get a bit cynical about whether people are telling you the whole truth as well as thinking that you might as well tell people to be ultra cautious.

I was having a check up last month, and while they didn't bat an eyelid at some of it, I got lectured about having condomless sex with my primary partner plus someone else we both see. Given that those are the only two people I've ever done bareback with and I got past thirty before it happened, I felt it was a bit rich of them, even making allowances for the above.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Wow there's a vaccine for herpes, was this offered to you via the nhs? I never knew there was one. I've had the genital warts vaccine so definitely want the herpes one too! X

Sorry I got confused here. The vaccine I got was for genital warts (HPV), not Herpes. my mistake  :P

Hi guys,

Started offering offering massage with HR a while ago to and wondering whether when you speak of supermarket oil do you mean the ones used for cooking too (forgive me if I'm wrong but a bit unsure) I'm thinking surely not, lol. I have proper carrier oil at present...? Plus are the flannels there incase client wants a nice candlelit soak beforehand to add to experience(would have thought most guys wanna be in and out shower quick and only bothered bought the massage and sensual stuff???

Thanks in advance

x

I do both tantric msg and gfe.

I think I would die of starvation if I relied on the massage, but then I'm rubbish at marketing myself.

- bath oils and oil bars
- massage oil - I use almond oil, which you can buy in a lot of ethnic mini markets.  Never use baby oil

Re bath oil/bars and Almond Oil, DON'T use any products that contain NUT oils without checking first with client if they have a nut allergy.

I'm an ITEC qualified Therapist in Swedish & Aromatherapy massage and I tend to use Grape seed oil as a base, it's great for the skin and it's also cheaper.  500ml bottle of Grape seed on Amazon from Naissance ?3.99 & ?1.49 postage and delivered in a couple of days.  I often use this company and they are fab  :)

I've never found any in the supermarket.  Chemists, organic stores or larger beauty shops.

You can buy grape seed in some super markets (Sainsburys I think) I haven't seen any in Tesco for ages.  It will be expensive in Boots the chemist and Holland & Barrett.

Olive oil is also used as a massage medium, but only in TINY amounts with another oil or your hands would come to a stop as you massaged (too thick)   Don't use any of the other super market oils in the oil isle, whilst we can eat them & perfectly safe, some of them will smell disgusting on the skin.

As already mentioned Amazon is good and very quick to deliver, let me know if you want a link for the supplier I have used in a pm.

Sunflower oil is fine as well if you can't get almond oil. Sainsburys usually stock the almond oil. You can get from chemist too though it's more exensive.x  Like someone else mentioned on here Baby oil is not good but I would kee a bottle in case somebody alergic to nuts.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.
