Title: Erotic massage & essential oils
Post by: K212 on 16 August 2019, 01:18:06 pm
Could you outline what it entails for you if you provide this only, rather than escorting.

Thank you x

Yes I was thinking to look up a short massage course. When I’ve taken other courses for other specialised mainstream work type skills that usually lead to a certain type of profession. There was the usual question of where will you take this with work..Will you work for yourself or within a company doing (whatever it is that course is in) blah blah blah. If ever you got asked this question on a course and not actually in the therapeutic legit massage industry what would you say your reasons for doing the course were?
Thanks

You don't tend to be asked any weird questions but would advise you attend a Level 3 course and not just a weekend course which doesn't tend to give you more than the basics.
You can get a reasonably priced massage table from Amazon, get insurance and can do normal massage when you have days when you can't or don't want to do escorting. Smaller income but good, so you can register with HMRC as have a recognised qualification.
I offer massage as an extra within a booking and most guys really appreciate it, especially great for relieving stress and tension. They tend to turn out to be good regulars.

The scents that turn men on most are vanilla/baked goods (pumpkin pie was the one American scientists used), so something vanillary, almondy etc. Lavender is the other one, though personally I wouldn't class that as erotic, though it did work in the scientific study.

Jasmine is quite heady and sensual.

K2, I've never been asked that question it's not a job interview. Are you overthinking?

I’ve done courses in other industry type things and the small talk thing is usually talking about where you’ll take that given skill in your work life. Not over thinking it. It’s a standard small talk dull question I find on courses.

You're paying for an educational course. I've done bags of massage courses, paid my money and get trained, no silly questions.  I think your mindset should always be that you are a legitimate massage student/professional. The fact that we do additional services involving cocks doesn't make you a lesser or inferior massage therapist. That's an easy trap to fall into.
Very true

I doubt you'll be asked such a question but if you're going to be self employed put self employed. If you don't know put that. If you're going to do a mix of both put that. Or just put any old shit and get cracking. ;D
i run my escorting work money through a different business. So don’t officially and probs won’t say I do that on paperwork. But your right will just say to anyone asking (making small talk) on a course. I am thinking to go into that industry and wanted to take the course and see..

I did a short course bought my table, practiced on clients, covered my costs for the table, did another few courses, bought my towels and massage paper, more practice and gradually improved. Then took more specialised courses in erotic-sensual massage paid for by massage sessions. Then made a massage website, and paid for that with massage earnings. As Ellie says, the skills you learn will be handy if you choose to do ITEC, BTEC which can take 4 months to 2 years, but no need to worry about that or insurance right now. No insurance policy covers dick massage.

HMRC is only interested in tax collection not qualifications. You can register as what you like with or without conventional/recognised qualifications. But let's not get bogged down in that it's not necessary at these baby steps stage.

I'd opt to do a few simple short courses of 1-7 days, set your room up, like Ellie says, practice simple moves on your clients and happy massaging. Learn as you earn.

My massage often makes more than escort services so there is light over the rainbow. ;)
thats good to know it works well for some people

ive never earnt as much money in anything else as I did escorting and my old mainstream job was well compensated. I think when can’t escort will do solely Massage. Like after pregnancy and not wanting to escort later in life  or if feel can’t escort and have a partner. But want to offer it to clients as an additional for now. Like you said a lot do like it as part of the experience. I just find escorting easier for the money weirdly. Whenever clients have asked for a massage I admittedly say I have no skills but will have a go and I find it HARD work. So I take my hat off to you ladies who do it more. But maybe when your not good at anything/not gained skills in it it’s going to be difficult. Will see after the course I guess if i find it any easier

I first came across this combination as a massage oil and love the combination Ylang Ylang, sandalwood and black pepper.

This is the article I was referring to: /aanos.org/human-male-sexual-response-to-olfactory-stimuli/]https://aanos.org/human-male-sexual-response-to-olfactory-stimuli/

A combination of pumpkin pie and lavender had the strongest effect on penile blood flow (out of doughnuts, liquorice and cranberry). Vanilla, strawberry, cola, jasmine and oriental spice are also mentioned.

I'm struggling to think of something equally iconic as pumpkin pie in Britain - bakewell tart? I think it's basically a cake/baking scent that you're after, so for scented candles something like vanilla or cookie dough?

Ylang Ylang, Cinnamon, CARDAMON (spicy), all aphrodisiac essential oils and smell lovely.  (Don't use in a diffuser or rooms where cats are, it's toxic to cats livers).

Interesting article thank you Kay.

If you are looking for essential oils for the Pumpkin Pie effect I have just found one which is a blend of Cinnamon, Clove Leaf and Orange. Interesting it could be blended with Lavender for the suggested desired effect. I’m going to order some and see if it works.

Anyone not qualified in Aromatherapy please research any contra- indications before using any essential oils for massage on clients.
Lavender and Tea Tree are the only essential oils that can be applied directly onto the skin without a carrier oil and these two oils can be used on anyone.

Enjoy  :)

Personally my biggest turn on oil used in a diffuser is Sandalwood- so sexy! :-*

I'd definitely do a massage course that leads to the qualification. Interestingly - you can do it through a private school so it only takes a few months instead of at college where they stretch it to fit the school year.

When you say you find massage hard work -
I'd say that's because you haven't been trained how to do it properly.
It is easy - if you know how. Really easy and as relaxing to give as it is to receive.

I love doing my job and I sometimes give 2 x 2 hour massages per day.
Client has to be on the right surface and at the right height or you could strain yourself. And there are techniques to make it easy on your body.

Also, go for massages yourself, with lots of different providers - to have a good understanding of what it should feel like and how different people deliver it differently.

As for scents: you do want your room to smell nice but keep it subtle. Not all clients will like the same smell.
Make sure you use unscented grapeseed massage oil for the sensual massage as your clients do not want to return to their wives smelling of massage oil.

You will learn about massage tables and oils on the level 3 course, BTW. You will need to buy one to do the course as you will have to practise on people as homework. You need to buy one that has an adjustable height.

I'm dabbling in aromatherapy but wouldn't use essential oils with sex work clients because I'm not qualified, risks of oil meeting condoms and many clients don't want to be left perfumed however used properly aromatherapy doesn't have to smell strong.
