Author Topic: I have an Outcall, But I have to rent a room when I get there also?  (Read 3088 times)

Earlier I recieved a 1st email from a prospect that lives about 25 miles (40 km) away from where I am. He wanted me to meet him in his part of town for lunch hour. No problem.

However he stated he couldnt host at his place and that he was looking for me to do an Incall in HIS area during lunch hour. Understandable.

I told him that whenever I do incalls, I rent motels in my area. I asked could he reimburse me for the room fee. Although I dont ask to be reimbursed for rooms in my area, this however would technically would be an outcall (total of 80 km).

He got angry at me and said "It would be a waste to get a room for just one hour". I then emailed him saying that I would go ahead and cover the room, and to just phone me around the time he wants to meet (trying to save the sale). However, I didnt recieve an email back tonight.

I had a situtation like this before, where I asked someone to pay the room since I traveled, and they gladly did. I know everyone is different, but in this case I would be traveling and booking a room...my expense. Was there a better way to handle this?

I think he is being completely unreasonable - it's a waste of his money to get a room just for one hour, but not yours? Unless you were treating it as a 'tour' and taking multiple bookings whilst you were staying in the motel (thus making them incalls, not outcalls), it is his responsibility to provide accommodation - that is the point of an outcall.

It sounds as if you would be left with very little once you have taken into account the room, your travelling costs (and time spent travelling) - I wouldn't lose sleep over missing out on this one too much. And anyone that gets angry with you over something so stupid isn't worth your time - what else might he 'get angry' about if he doesn't get his own way?

What Amy said, not every booking is worth doing. Financially it's not worth it for you to cater to his requirements, and on top of that he got angry at your reasonable behaviour. If I were you I wouldn't see him even if I was touring his area.

thanks...I figured it seemed inconsiderate for him to mention, and im sure he wasnt talking about just having lunch, as he mentioned the sexual things he liked.

I just feel bad now, I should of told him off instead of offering to take the room...tell him,"well where do u think we're going to do this at then, in my car  ???"

I wouldn't lose any sleep over that one!

Let him know that an outcall means the client provides the accomodation, be it his own home or otherwise. Clients regularly book rooms just to see a girl (used to for me at least) and I'm sure he already knows that he is out of line.

I cant help but to think if this guy is even serious for one. What kind of person says to an escort, "renting a motel for 1 hour seems like a waste", and then adds, "if we were to get together a bit longer I would".  ???

I did recieve an email reply back from him, but it was only in response to the question of what time he goes to lunch. Didnt recieve a call, and I didnt reply back to the message.

I dont think i lost sleep over that one, but I damn sure was up until 630 am (eastern standard) this morning!

i don't think he is serious and definitely not worth to waste your sleep over it.

i agree with all what said he has to provide for the cost and for you there must be enough profit that it is worth for you, financially and i also think emotionally.
i was asked a couple of times for incalls and i couldnt offer them, and renting a room on my costs for just one booking and me paying for it, i wouldnt feel i would make enough money and that also would affect the feeling of self worth and would leave me feeling used.

and when i asked them to cover the costs they were complaining that they were not willing to pay for a hotel room too. i had a few bookings to turn down because of it in the past.

I thin you're right, after all if he wasn't prepared to pay for the room, would he have been prepared to pay for an extra hour or 2 on top of the room fee or was he expecting extra time for free?

If he wasn't a timewaster he was a chancer - and a cheeky one at that!

I agree with what you're saying and in my part of town, hotels run $55-65 bucks for a descent non-roach motel. (I dont think many clients want to meet at a seedy roach motel with cops flying by every minute). Whenever I have an incall, I do go at an additional rate

In fact, I had one guy almost cancel a booking because we were to meet at a resturaunt 1st and their were 2 cop cars parked in the back. LOL, the guy thought I was setting up a sting! Of course, I told him I seen those...and to not even worry as they were inside having a bite.
