for those who take deposits in the form of gift cards specially in the united states, do you get them sent to your escort email address or do you provide an unpublished e-mail address, and why
why have cotton when you can have silk???

For deposits, I have a completely separate email address in a completely different name to not only my escort name, but my real name too. It is not published anywhere online. As I tend to ask for the same e-gift cards, I actually have two different emails I use just as another layer of protection and privacy.

Neither email address are published online because I don't want spam in those particular inboxes, nor do I want random men contacting me with enquiries. Additionally, I know some companies do checks on e-giftcards at the point of purchase, so it makes sense to me not to use an email address that is googleable or connected to my website or escorting name.

As an aside, I use a variety of email addresses as I find it's a good way of tracking where enquiries are coming from. I not only have a dedicated one for deposits, I have another for gifts and several as points of contact.

i see, and usually all gift cards ask the buyer to put a name. do you tell client your real name or let him put your escort name? for me i dont mind using my escort name im just worried that at the point of purchase they will ask to see id,to see if name matches giftcard name, but if not then i dont care

I've only ever had them sent to my work address and I don't recall them having a name on them, apart from when there's been a card to accompany them. Why would somebody ask you for ID when buying something?

at the shop they may want to check that you are the genuine owner of the giftcard specially when it's been delivered by email

Why? Nobody cares who owns a giftcard - you could have picked it up off the ground in the street outside?

If you're that concerned, just spend it online :)

E-gift cards are usually a barcode (to scan in person) and numbers (to input manually online).

Re. security - sometimes, you might need to enter the email address of the recipient in order to access the gift card. That is the only form of security I have ever come across. No-one has ever queried anything about the gift card it or asked to see it when I have used it to pay in a bricks and mortar store.

As for name, sometimes my clients put my working name, more often than not, it's just the initial (of my working name).
