Watford is it good area to work from ?
« on: 16 March 2023, 09:03:56 pm »
Hi girls

I am a bit fed up with central London and I want to move out a bit outside. I was wondering if Watford will be good area to work from ? I know we are all different but if anyone could share with experience will be really helpful. I would like to know what type of clients are there, is it more job during the day or evening? Any tips will help me to decide what to do.  ::)

I lived near Watford and worked from home for years, and in general rated my clients (at least compared with those I've dealt with in Lancashire) pretty highly. I was a couple of minutes from a junction of the M25, so most were driving to me and as there was on-street parking it was no problem. Central Watford may be a little different, but Watford Junction is a busy station for London commuters. I, personally, liked the convenience of being so near London and yet also being near some green space and having more a community feel, and the location of my house meant nosey neighbours weren't a problem either.

I was definitely busiest during the day, but did do quite a few evening bookings.

Thank you so much ladies. I provide a specific service - I’m submissive- so usually I was busy near by City, offices and bigger stations like Victoria or King’s Cross. I was out of the business for over 3 years and since I came back I have difficulty getting any flat in Central London for responsible price. I also don’t work till late ( 5pm is my last appointment) so I was wondering if I could be also busy outside like in Watford. It’s a bit far away for me but after all your comments I will give a try. Thank you so much.

Where is the best places to advertise for Watford. Where did you consistently get clients from and what do girls charge averagely?

I worked Watford couple of times and did well but i find hotels too expensive there a lot of the time and too risky to chance it.

If you want to look at prices of what women charge do a search on Viva and AW as easiest way to find out.

I lived a few miles from Watford when I first started, and that NW London area just inside the M25 had always been quite good for me. But not really so busy to begin with. I built up a lot of regulars over the first year or so and it was better then. Because the motorways are nearby there is a fair amount of passing trade. But the clients that lived in the area were generally better, and apart from some time I spent in Wiltshire have been as good as anywhere I have worked. I'm now over 100 miles north of that area, and it is different. But also the whole scene has changed a lot in the last twenty years and my perception might no longer be valid.

I get a lot of clients that travel down from Watford to me when I work in Wembley; that indicates that there is a probable large client base there for you to get work from, if you can tap into the market and hit it right.

Hotel names are not allowed on here, and the reason is partly because it puts them on the alert. I've never used a hotel in that area, but there are plenty of them to try.
