« on: 19 July 2008, 09:17:18 pm »
Hi all

Sorry this is not really an escorting issue but just posting here in case anyone uses this software for photos on their pc?

I have posted this problem on a forum on the serif website but not having much luck getting an answer there!!!!

anyone just to get to the point - if anyone uses Serif Photoplus 6 - can they please tell me if they use the blur option to blur faces on pics?

I am trying to do it and not getting results I want.
thanks
alexandra

hi
im sure theres a thread in this forum that has some advice about blurring / disgusing your face on pics . You need to be carefull as i did read somewhere that some ( sad nowt better to do !) men use software that removes the blurring ect . i will have a look for the article and post the link if i can find it - im sure it is on this saffe forum but i may be wrong !!

To be double safe that no one sees your face why not just use some good body shots , or shots where your face is hidden by a nice hat tilted down , also shots from the back view ( full length ) are good as then people can see your hair and general look without you giving away your identity.

A face can only be revealed after blurring if it's not blurred enough. You should be able to set the strength of the blur, so turn it up.

Undoing filters like blurs depends on knowing the maths used, and blurs are pretty simple maths. Strengthening the blur usually involves sampling over a wider area, resulting in fewer features being visible... and a face something like a Dr Who monster.

If you're worried, make sure your face / other identifying feature isn't in the photo before you start playing with it, whether that means a mask, looking away from the camera or something else.
