I dont work when on any more but when i did i used a ramer sponge, the small round ones. cut into the size you think is adequate for you and just push it up like a tampon.  When finished sit on a toilet relax your muscles and fish it out.

It depends, when I worked in a parlour if I had a shift I'd do it, period or not, I'd just use a sponge

Indie, it depends but I will avoid working most of the time. If I'm really desperate for money or dont have any pre period symptoms and have already arranged bookings I'd rather not cancel then I do, but I usually have period pains a day or 2 before so I know when its coming, if this happens I feel all snuggly and like lying in bed so dont work  ;D

I have really irregular periods too so I dont always know when its going to come, I've never had a client complain about my period or notice anything whilst wearing a sponge

What I do, I get a normal tampon cut it in half leaving the string end and push that up first then I push up a small diamond shape cosmetic sponge you can buy in Boots 4 in a packet ... it totally works as the half tampon with string stops the sponge from going too deep so you can always get both out easily.

Nobody has ever noticed that I have these in - it really works for me, give it a go !

i try to book my tours around my periods but mother nature likes to surprise me a lot.  So i use a sponge and ibuprofen to lesson the blood flow and it does help reduce any swelling i get on my tummy.

i did get the pills off the doctor to stop the period but had to take them 4 or 5 days in advance and when i did get my period it was like hell.

I rarely get periods(mostly thanks to the contraceptive implant) and when I do they don't last very long, few days at most and often it's co-incided with days off or with the opportunity for me to have a bit of time out. If they are significant and clash with days I am supposed to be seeing clients(quite often it'll co-incide with time off or opportunity for time out) I will usually cancel but this has been rare(only twice this year I think so far). A guy did once ask me to get in touch for period play, but when I did it wasn't convenient for him. ::)

Sponges are ok but they aren't always adequate, and I prefer not to have to wonder if it's in place or not.

ALL my period play meet up requests haven't ever materialised due to my mothly being inconvenient for them.

Like all the ladies a sponge is your best best bet. You'll never go wrong with it to get it out use the method used by DMD that's the best way to get it out x

Hi curvywench, I would recommend 'seapearls' you can but them online. Although they are just small natural sponges so i guess you could buy them in a chemist, I use them as a complete replacement for tampons now  :)

Yes, I do. I use a natural sea sponge cut in half. Today is my first day on and i'm not working because I feel like rubbish - im drinking tea and eating chocolate at the moment, but tomorrow i will be using the sponge for work again if any bookings come in. Hopefully it will be pretty much gone by the weekend when i work the most. Good luck with it, just relax when it comes time to pull it out. I remember the first time I used the sponge i panicked a little, but no need it was fine!

I just use a normal tampon, stick it up as usual but then turn it on its side.. Getting it out is fun but I manage lol  ;D

I just can't bring myself to do the sponge thing. I'm just too worried about it getting stuck up there. So I don't work during, but then I find sex painful when I'm on so its not really an issue.

I've had no end of problems with my periods ever since I first started.  I've tried all manner of contraceptives etc. to stop them over the years, but nothing has worked and in the end I just put up with them.
Since starting in this business they've cost me as I've never been regular and I can sometimes come on twice in a month, so I've had to do something about it.    I'm currently on the depo (but I still get periods, although they are lighter now and I don't suffer with period pains anymore), until I have my womb cauterised.  Hopefully then that will be an end to the problem.
