Ladies who Offer Massage - Gumtree Ads??
« on: 17 May 2019, 11:43:41 pm »
Hey!
Does anyone use Gumtree to advertise their massage services?
I knew two ladies who did & offered extras to their clients, but just wondered if any others use it alongside AW or other sites?

This last week has been the quietest week I’ve had since I started back up 8 months ago, and while I can’t complain too much, it has made me wonder if I could start using Gumtree as a back-up to hopefully get an extra client or two on quiet days.

I see quite a few ads on there for massage and all of them have the “not a sexual service” note, but I know that’s not necessarily true for a few of them! And besides, I’d rather just do a legit massage than sit doing nothing!!

I can’t speak for recently but I used to have a friend who only offered massage with a happy ending and she did use gumtree.

But there were heavy restrictions on what she could write and she found the amount of timewasters unreal.

Also and again I’m not sure if it’s the case now but there were instances of gumtree staff ringing up pretending to be clients and if you offered a sexual service then they would just delete your ad.

I haven't used Gumtree as I've heard so many complaints from friends over the years that they repeatedly delete innocent ads and photos without explanation, no warning and no refund. And have extremely poor customer service. However, lots of people advertise there. You're right generally they provide hand relief despite the 'no sex' disclaimer.

Gumtree, seems to be on the affordable end of the massage market, from £40 1hr, £60 2hr.
Gumtree clients traditionally request hand relief for a 'tip' of £20, which seems to be the norm.

I notice a couple photos of advertisers which is interesting as previously Gumtree banned human images in the massage section.

This happened to me a year or two ago with a "room to let" advert.

I'm pretty sure this has been on a threas here already - a search for something like 'massage Gumtree' ought to find it :)
