Do you ever dream about clients? Scary or what!
« on: 13 February 2009, 08:48:05 am »
Last night had a dream about someone I met last weekend. He wasnt a client just someone I had been conversing with and only met on a date once! Anyway it made me think about some of the other dreams I've had of clients in the past. It annoys me sometimes because they are often very dramatic, nothing I want to think about. And then I wake up feeling weird, as if I was actually with them. And they feel realer than most dreams.

Has it happened to you?

Hi Joey,
I dream most vividly about every manner of things you can imagine, work and otherwise.
I seem to have a high dream capacity and the ability to remember the dreams accurately and all the time.
Not one night has gone by, that I can recall, where I had no dream I could remember.
They range from very, very funny dreams where I am told I am laughing in my sleep to all out, horrible and scared to go back to sleep again nightmares.

One way and perhaps the only way to cope with it is to have a book by your bed and wake up and write them down.
At the end of the day, I can't see any hidden messages in my dreams as quite what the hidden message is in a dream where I am stood at a bus stop with a pregnant woman laughing so hard I fear she will give birth - I had that one last night! No idea who the woman was, just that jokes were flying about and it was hysterically funny.
The night before I had a dream about terrorists that were using this special tarmac laced with a killer virus to eliminate everybody on my street. If you walked on it, you got sick and died. I was running over it in a pair of massive platform shoes to stop the tarmac burning through the soles too quickly meaning I could go to me house, which was not the house I live in, get my rifle and shoot them all... Go figure the hidden meaning in that! And I have had that dream a total of 5 times in the last 6 months.
I don't see no virus ridden tarmac outside my door!
Dreams stay with you all day long, my dreams play out like films for the most and are better than films actually!
Write them down Joey. Seriously.

They're working on Viagra for women. Are they crazy? That's been around for hundreds of years - its called cash... Alonzo Boden.

Ha, me too. Although I can't recall ever having dreamt of a client I do remember all of my dreams with clarity. I did have a dream once of my texting a client to apologize for sleeping through a morning booking I had missed, but that was nondescript for no particular individual.

My first ever client was a bit of a prick, but nothing serious, attempting to haggle etc.  A few weeks later I had a dream that he tried to pay me in Monopoly money, and made a tragicomic attempt to convince me it was real.
