I think we must stick to our guns when we give them a deadline for confirmation and cancel booking if confirmation call/text doesn't come.

I've got to be honest I didn't use confirmation texts, I wanted to hear their voices to try and judge if they were just playing the fool.

Even calls are not 100% foolproof but I don't think us calling them to confirm booking is good either. They need to show willing to make an effort and if we do the calling then they are not.

No communication/confirmation at due time = no booking.

If we've not spoken previously I always require a phone call , and specify this at time of booking. The no show I mentionedhad agreed to phone, on the day nothing then I received a text from a landline 10 minutes after the 1 hour window claiming poor signal, please respond he'd phone when he did get into a better area. Hotel still showed as booked so I gave benefit of doubt. This isn't something I'd usually do, and I had his deposit which was reasonably significant.

I never took bookings by text and like many much preferred a call on the day.  I wasn't even fussy on AW booking system.

Very early in my whoring career I took a dislike to out calls and only ever did a couple. Never had a bad experience. Just didn't like the travelling etc as I'm a lazy cow.

Deposits are fine if they work for you and I don't blame you for using this system.

Most of my clients are same day regulars I'd never book a newbie in advance.
The best way that works for me is the example below.
This morning a newbie called at 9am asking for an 11am booking, he came across as genuine and someone I would see so I asked him where he'd be travelling from, he said a place about 3 miles away, I gauged that's roughly 15-20 minutes travel time so I told him OK call me when he was ready to leave at around 10.40 to get my post code, only when he's done that would would I get ready.
Going firstly by gut feelings and how he comes across then requesting he call me at 10.40 omits a lot of the risk of TW'ers, 9 times out of 10 once they've called back to get my post code they show up if he didn't he'd be listed TW and never get a 2nd booking.
This is how I book all newbies if they have a problem with it they can go look for a lady who books the way THEY want.
This works for me as I'm low volume and quite flexible with same day bookings, I appreciate it wouldn't suit high volume ladies who like to know in advance their day ahead.

Yeah I agree with this method of working. Was how I worked too.

I'm very low volume, short notice doesn't work for me. I require advance bookings. Couple of regulars have booked me at 6 hours notice, one of whom pays by bank transfer which is sent/received as soon as we've agreed the booking.

I work full time and prefer to know what I'm doing with my day so advance is always preferable but if that's not possible and I happen to be available then aslong as my client let give me about 60-90 minutes to get ready for him then I'm more than happy to take same day short notice appointments.

If it's a new client then I don't like to take advance bookings any more than 2 days in advance.

Lol no, as soon as I get off the phone from a short notice booking....I go in for a shower then I do my hair and makeup all fresh.

The only thing I put on in the morning and leave on throughout the day is my eye makeup as winged eyeliner is a pain in the arse to do but after each client leaves, I take the rest of my makeup off and reapply for the next.

So by the time I get a shower, do my hair and makeup, sort out my work room etc....it's easy an hour plus my phone holds me up a lot answering enquires and things while I'm trying to get ready.

I often get local regulars phone first thing asking if they can come over "now", I don't count the shower as that's already done so its usually a couple of minutes for make up (light foundation, non smudge lippy and mascara) and on with the stockings and heels etc.
I wouldn't do 15 minutes in between bookings as I'm a lazy whore who likes a good break in between clients so I'd say ideal for me is one first thing in the morning and another around lunchtime as this allows me a time after the first one to re shower, remove the makeup and do other things so if I do get a second client I'm already showered so again I just need to freshen up, mouthwash, quickly re apply a bit of makeup and throw on my stockings again.
