I get the odd no shows everywhere but Glasgow is just worse than anywhere. Not just the no shows, but the amount who cancel with 15 min notice.

I try the no appointment system where it's first come first served but that puts off some genuine ones.

So from the rest of today if anyone calls even if five guys ask for the same time I'm telling them all yes lol.

Because had I done that from earlier I wouldn't have been three clients down. Annoys me the amount I turned away.

I am sure I am not the first person who has done this. I only will do in Glasgow or Ireland. Nowhere else.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

I just tour and when away i double and triple book if someone wants a hour at 1pm i book in another hour at 1.30pm i also book back to back  ;D

Couldn't care less!! I can turn me and a room around in mins. Gone are the days of me booking 6-7 in to do 3-4 due to tw.

Only time i don't double book is bookings made on system and regs i know will come. I advice all my clients on both my profile and via initial call to book me online to secure my time. If they choose not to thats not my problem that time slot is free until booked online or someone is at location.

Yes I've had 2 turn up at once they wait or they go simple.

If you told them the pros and cons of not booking online, then it's a fair game.

I double or treple book some times after a string of no shows. There are many no shows here and the few times I do this method works out. I see two then one no shows or cancels.

Usually the time they want isn't the same but close together. If running 10 minutes late an apology discount goes down well I do ?10 off.

It's a good idea suggested here about getting them to book on line but in my opinion someone who books on line with zero feedback is not reliable.x

And really only has a chance of working if you only use AW and even then you will lose bookings as it means having to register.

I know they won't all do it and won't turn away the ones who do book on line. But won't double book these ones. X

A gap of 30 mins between clients is ok for me as gives me time without panic, but double booking is something I have done accidentally and felt awful about it as I had to turn one man away when he was parked outside. I vowed to myself never to do it again. My relief came later when I saw no bad review of me.
If men want to see me and their time requests overlap I can usually get them to change times by 20 mins or so but one thing I do not do is leave them to dress while I go to shower etc. I like to stay with them while they get ready to leave and continue the relaxed chat. This only works if they do not take the P and think we can have a lengthy discussion as if this looks likely I WILL say "I will let you dress while I go to the loo" otherwise they linger far too long and it irritates me when I know I have other stuff to do.

I have had a handful of times when I rushed around cleaning up and making everything ready with seconds to spare before they buzz me and it gets the heart racing but when I open my door they would have no idea how things looked just 5 minutes ago! because of course they think we sit around filing our nails and all frillied up waiting for calls.

Last week when I worked I had 4 no shows and 1 cancel last minute, so lost out on a good bit of money, I don’t double book as I’d panic and feel awful if two men turn up to my hotel and I’d have to ignore one or ask him to wait BUT lately the no shows have started to get to me, just wanted to ask if other girls double book in case one doesn’t show, and if so what do you do if two do turn up, working today and already had a no show and 1 cancel half hour before booking.

I usually do not double book for the same reason(both arriving at the same) I have done done it once and they both did and I felt bad. What I do now is ask for a confirmation call at a particular time (30mins to 1hr before the appointment) and I go from there. Whoever confirms first/on time gets the time slot, the other gets bumped.

You almost have to, the men do it & play us against each other price wise, bc I read about.😡

"Oh I have 2 on the hook for this afternoon, but whoever gives me the better deal is where I'll go."
I mean, they brag about it & about leaving the 2nd girl in the dust.

I also very specifically ask them to confirm 60 minutes out & if they don't, no session for you!

The problem is, they’re the customer and therefore have the power. If he cancels, you lose money and he keeps it. Because he is a customer, he can just cancel but if you do that, then you get a bad rep or review. It’s an uneven position where he calls the shots and you can’t do nothing about it. That’s one of the main downsides to this in my opinion.

60 mins too short notice to sort out a different booking. I prefer texting in the morning and few hours before the meet. Then if silence i message people who are interested to see me in case of cancellations.

What I do now is give out all the appointments and make them confirm an hour before then I switch to first come first served alongside that.
