I have a client who sees me in hotels (he books). However, last time I saw him, he wanted a 3 hour visit but...due to a traffic diversion etc it took me an hour each way. Overall, therefore, I was out 5 hours and he even docked my money due to me getting there 15 mins late (due to traffic as mentioned). He paid me basically for 2.5 hours. He wants me to meet him next time even further away.

What would you do? Is this simply the disadvantage of outcalls? Should I just accept it?

I only do outcalls. I will travel up to 1 hour max (reluctantly). After that, I will charge them, but they then always want more for nothing so I never take the bookings. I am not doing a 3 hour roundtrip for an hour's pay.

I just feel a lot of these enquiries are chancers......why don't they get a girl where they are??

The price charged for outcalls should include reasonable travel.

I would say that over an hour is not reasonable... so in your position, I'd either decline the booking - especially after that behaviour, could you have stayed for three hours? - or say, 'fine, but it will be ?x more to cover the extra travel'.

I charge no extra for outcalls that are convenient to me (I can walk to most hotels in the city centre) and I ask them to split the taxi fare if they want me to go to hotels in the suburbs (that is, I charge an extra ?20.) I won't go to those hotels in the middle of the day, either, unless it's for a two-hour booking or longer, as I'm going to spend at least an hour in transit.

I think him docking your pay was a bit mean of him. Perhaps he couldn't stay an extra 15 minutes but I would not be impressed. I always tell my outcalls that I can't predict traffic and when the taxi will arrive and then I keep them up-to-date on my progress with texts. I'm usually on time but if I'm stuck in traffic they know as soon as I do that this is happening.

I think if you made a mistake at all it was in letting him book a hotel far away from you. If he was booking specifically to have you visit him (rather than booking you to come to the hotel he was staying in, anyway) then he's a dolt.

Wow your a better person than i am. i would of just stayed the extra 15mins at the end and told him not to be so stupid!
he will pay you your full fee!

Anyway back on point. I make my outcalls substantially more expensive so i am technically charging for my time there and back.

And if they wanted me to travel even further 1hour+ then i would probs charge another ?50 or something but im super lazy.

just do what makes you comfortable.

thats basically the basis of escorting only do what you are comfortable with

I wouldn't charge for travelling time as such but I would charge slightly higher rates for an outcall as I would for an incall.

For the sheer cheek of him docking your money for 15 minutes.....I would tell him to get to fuck, that would have put me in a stinker of a mood after being stuck in traffic and spending an hour travelling to see someone for them to then do that. Would have been a bad start to a booking for me so I think I would have turned around and walked away.

So there's no chance i would see him again.

Did you stay the full 3 hours? Did he just dock you for being late or did he only keep you for 2.5 hours? Being 15 mins late is hardly the end of the world. If it was an incall and he was 15 mins late.....I am sure he would turn round and look at you as if you'd just done a shit on top of his head if you asked him for extra money to cover the 15 minutes you've been waiting.

Doesn't sound like the type of client I would like to meet with just for his cheek but that's just me.

In my opinion the correct answer depends a lot on your circumstances.

For context, I do only outcalls and this is my only source of income. I live in a tiny place (20.000~ people), which neighbours another equally small town. It takes 1 hour to get to the nearby town, but I'm happy to take outcalls to the area assuming the appointment is long enough for my liking (2+ hours). All I personally ask for is to have my travel costs covered. This works just fine for me, because I'm not really missing out on any other income - in fact, I'd be missing out if I didn't take the outcalls to the other town.

With that said, as Miss K said, your client's a cheeky fucker and I'd plain refuse to see him again for docking my pay.

I agree, he is a cheeky fooker. I've emailed and told him I'm not prepared to travel an hour each way and so it's up to him to change the venue.

Then I'll see him closer and grit my teeth....

I think I've reacted like this because I only see a couple of regulars as I am really worried about advertising as an escort in case my son finds out. To me, that would be horrific. Therefore, I just stick to two guys who I know will always turn up. Even if I hate them both for a variety of reasons haha x

I charge ?10-?20 extra depending on how far away they are, if it was over 2 hours travel time I'd probably even say ?30.
