Title: Do you block no shows or just save their number?
Post by: ladyofthemansion on 15 August 2019, 10:30:27 am
I know some ladies just block no shows and some just save them.

Am now thinking to just block them all because then I won’t have to hear from them again.

But there is always going to be the odd one who will contact you later with a genuine reason. Not often though.

What do you all do?

I save them with a tag-number or description of their crime eg 'NS99', 'NSinameeting' and block.
I don't get repeat attempted bookings for no shows, cause they know they've been bad.

I also tag & block guys who irritate me, too impatient, abrupt or say insincerely, 'I'll ring later'...a couple might repeat ring, but it's not a stalking situation. I didn't used to tag all these annoying ones but I do now and feel better for it.

Save in my phone with NoSho and the date it happened.  I can then see how long they leave it before trying again. I rarely answer a second call but if in the mood I will and when I confront them with what they did last time they usually deny all knowledge.  My only words to them are BYE BYE!

No second chances ever though!

Block and move on. If they messed you around once, they will probably not think twice about doing it again.

I tag with date of offending thing and abbreviate what they did. I don’t usually block as find it interesting to see if they try again (usually the idiots who have no common sense will try contacting again of their offending number giving g completely different age and description of themself  ::) not knowing have backlog of their past dialogue or notes saved alongside the number.
Will only block if I’ve asked them twice to stop messaging, not interested, letting them know they’re being blocked also sometimes.

I do the same. I enjoy letting them know of what they have done previously. Most are shocked we don’t clear our phone lol I love it

I save them as no shows.

I did have one genuine case. He'd parked up when his phone network went down (it was on the news), so he was stuck! He called me the next day to apologise/explain and I saw him later.

I save them as no shows and usually just ignore any further calls/texts. If they persist I say they need to pay a deposit and this usually makes them go away, I did have one who actually paid the full amount before by bank transfer when I said that.

That was pretty much my experience as well.I usually did have them calling again to book and nearly always they denied having ever even contacted me before.I would say that perhaps only one or 2 admitted they had no showed me but they either said they had cancelled (bullshit) or decided they would not bother when I said I would book them in but they would be paying an extra £20 as a 'cancellation fee' for last time.Funny that! ;)
I didn't feel the need to block them as they usually never bothered me again after that.I did block the odd one that became harassing as in trying to persuade me to see them again and getting shitty when I said no.

I keep their user names/dates/reasons/excuses/whatever bc i♥️zinging them.

"Oh hi. And your name? Hi Edward. You'd like to see me? Sure! That's interesting bc on January 12th of this year you said your name was Chris & you never showed. Care to explain?"

Granted, there's always the chance that someone else now has that particular #, buuuuut really? What are the chances? *skeptical look*

Exactly  :D the silence when it clicks and utter surprise still amazes me. I mean how thick do those types have to be  ???

“But John you called me on the 13th of May when you were apparently French and 39 years old.
You sure do change nationality and age like no one I’ve ever met  ;D”

I save them. I get alot of guys trying to book me a month later and get huge satisfaction out of ignoring the txt and getting 3 or 4 more txts from the initial one. I worry if I block them they will just get a different number

My mates were using my phone
It's a shared workphone
Just bought this phone last week

All heard when I've asked about the previous let downs.

I have a system to remember numbers and email addresses so I have a basic history, and yes I'll mention it if it's relevant.

Some will be honest, will admit to nerves or being a plonker, I have had some actually then book - and because I take deposits that's fine. When I didn't I would give second chances, but not a 3rd unless they paid a deposit.

A known customer messaging me,
saying he will book soon but to no avail.
 i.e. no booking follows. . .

Next time he contacts by messaging more "dribble/BS" over
another booking...
I'll block him.
Ship had sailed. . .

Courtesy to say, "sorry, can't do it now"
won't cost a penny . . .

They are not worried about them wasting women's
time (i.e. having to read and respond to their dribble)
except themselves.
I owe him nothing.
He paid and I gave him the service.
That was it.

No second chance, especially in this
game!
I won't put up with it.
