do I tell the agency
« on: 15 January 2025, 01:52:20 pm »
Agency said he would likely book more than one hour

last night I had a booking at 12:45pm to a bar and the client got us drinks and said he would pay the agency first hour and second hour he would pay me directly I said no I'm not comfortable with that.

He goes all the other models do this even before we sit down they give me their number.

the hour is up and he says so how do you want to go about this I go I would like to stay on the books and have the agency paid he goes okay fine we can do that.

So I tell the agency were going back to my place I put on share my location for an hour, we get to mine and the agency says he needs to pay for the second hour. I tell him this and he goes no I'll pay you and not the agency or I'll leave.

I said I don't want to get in trouble with the agency. So the guy ended up leaving telling the agency he was tired.  he wrote his number down and put it on my table..

Should I tell the agency what happened or no point?
I have a fear the agency will think I saw the client off record and then it will impact the number of bookings I actually get.

I don't really know other models in the industry and still fairly new to this.

If he's a regular of the agency and you're quite new I suspect they will have put him up to this (probably in return for a discount or a freebie) to see if you would go for it. He sounds a bit odd anyway; why is he calling you 'models' and did he pay your full rate to spend an hour in a bar before going to yours?

Going on about how 'everybody else' does something to try and badger you into doing it is textbook boundary pushing arsehole regardless, and whilst I have no time for agency pimps it sounds as if you did exactly the right thing to me :)

He paid the agency full price in crypto, but when the agency asked for the second hour fee in crypto it was a higher price which threw me off a little it was 250 more than what its suppose to be.

but it was weird to come to my place and then just leave instantly pretty much saying he's not comfortable paying the agency even after to agreeing. And that he thinks the agency owner is a bad guy and treats the girls badly and he has stories but didn't want to tell me. When I arrived at the bar he was like I want you to be comfortable we aren't having sex I never pay for that we are just hanging out.

He said he's been using the agency for 8 years now he's 32 so he's a regular but he said he only books girls every 6 months and he doesn't always let the girl stay.

So this would most likely be a set up to see if I would go against the agency or just a weird encounter?

But should I tell the agency or no need to ?

Yes my first thought too on reading the op was that the man was possibly a ''plant' 🙄😏 and testing you so he could report back  and tell them how honest you are/were.  Agents (aka pimps) are only wanting one thing and that's your commission ! They can replace you at any time so don't really have your interest at heart.

I've been with an agency before going independent and ditching them was the best decision I've made.

To answer the question in the title yes it was better to inform the agent if you want to continue with them.

He's a "spy" for the agency testing girls.

He paid the agency full price in crypto, but when the agency asked for the second hour fee in crypto it was a higher price which threw me off a little it was 250 more than what its suppose to be.

Another concern that’s jumping out at me right off the bat, paying the full amount in crypto seems to only have negative factors compared to paying cash….

Perhaps for a deposit maybe I could see it. But the whole amount? How can you guarantee you’re getting paid properly and upfront without counting it yourself

As you’ve now found out crypto can go up and down in price as well. This agency seems both strange and rather controlling with a non-typical set up, plus now the added layer of sending “plant” customers to test you out.
I really would recommend switching to a different agency in your area that takes cash payments and you pay your fees AFTER receiving it from the client directly, usually weekly. This means you can keep any tips that clients give you too

Edit: And can I ask how the agency are paying you? Surely not crypto too…. Nightmare for the tax liability if you do get caught out … which will happen if you do it longer term. Also do they pay you right away same day, or they holding it for days and you get a weekly pay out

Hun I’d recommend switching they sound quite controlling…also if it’s crypto payments how does that work if a client no shows? Do they send out refunds lol

It just sounds like they could potentially hold your money from you, if you ever fail one of their tests / fall out with them / or even no reason at all… plus all agencies are ILLEGAL

He said he's been using the agency for 8 years now he's 32 so he's a regular but he said he only books girls every 6 months and he doesn't always let the girl stay

This also is ringing massive alarm bells for me….

What normal client after waiting for 6 months for his lovely 2x a year treat to himself…doesn’t go ahead with the booking as often as that ? That’s just a massive waste of time and money if it were any normal punter they don’t do that

Non-sex or companionship bookings do happen sometimes, but asking the lady to leave 10 minutes in without a refund or service is just strange. Definitely a test…100%

Can you not ask one of your colleagues working at same agency if they had the same happen to them? Try having a buddy to ask questions about stuff like that or also try work independently too you probably will make more money anyway !

The agency holds the money for a month and then they do a bank transfer to me, I also hold commission for the agency for a month if I am getting cash payments.

I have actually never had a client just book me like this I asked why he said I had a spare 3 hours in my evening and I can book someone when I'm bored. I really hope it wasn't a test because that leaves me feeling uncomfortable, but also this guy said he didn't like the owner of the agency and that I should trust him.

I don't take any crypto money, I also don't take transfers from clients because I don't want people to have my personal information.

I honestly wouldn't know where to start if I was an independent worker, the screening, marketing is a big part I'm sure and I'm sure you can make a lot of money like that.

Thank you everyone for advice on this its really been helpful and honestly huge weight off my chest

Sounds really weird. Either the agency is testing you or he is trying to get something out of you. Like he is trying to make you think he is "not like the other clients ". I would ask not to have him ever book you again. And you were right to tell them what happened.

Also if the agency owner is so bad why does he continue to use this agency?? He might be trying to get you to work for a him instead. How did the agency react when you told them what happened?

Sounds really odd. Also, he might not want to pay the agency owner, but it's gonna happen through commission anyway, so it makes no sense  :-\ people are weird. I've never heard of paying through crypto before either...

The *only* upside of an agency is when they provide the incall space for you. But I heard some agencies don’t even do that……

Would strongly recommend at least trying independently too, you can look on here for tips on screening and marketing. Set up an advert on AW and boom off you go

You will probably make far more money independent once you get going too, trust me 🙏
Do it under a brand new name with new photos so people don’t link your profiles together is my other suggestion x

I have never heard anything like this and I hope you mostly receive cash so that you owe them money and not the other way around.

The agency is a criminal organisation and there is no reason you should trust it to held your earnings for a month and then pay you. tbh THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS.
I'd run!

Agencies only do marketing.
They do NOT vet clients. You are not safe or safer going through an agency.
