Do any of you travel to hotel without ringing it?
« on: 06 February 2014, 08:21:40 am »
Guy tries to book me for outcall just now. He gave me the hotel room number. I said I would like to ring hotel and be put through to him at his room but he said he just wanted me to ring his mobile when I got there. I said I wanted to ring him on his room phone but he said ladies didn't do that these days and he didn't want that as his work had booked it. For me it was a no can do but wonder if other ladies are slacking there these days.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

No.

Yes it loses bookings, and some guys will be genuine but many of the turned up wasn't there, or tried to pay by cheque incidents are incidents where the lady has not checked his booking or room by phoning. He could pay a deposit instead.

Not calling the hotel asking to be put through to the client in his room is just asking for trouble.

Saying that, I often get paid in full in advance but that's a whole different thread no doubt!  ;D

I always ring to confirm that they are actually in that hotel, and particularly in the room they say they are in .

They always say ladies never do that as they want to get out of giving you their details. I require the full name the room is booked under and I call reception and ask to be put through to mr **** in room *** and if they come back and say he is in a different room or there is no mr **** in that room I cancel the booking before I leave home citing dishonesty as the reason.

No unless its a cheap place with no phone in room, then I want proof the room is booked and or a deposit.

I had someone who did book and did give name and room number , the room number was 4** but when I googled the place you could see it only had 3 levels.

So now even when they do give details I do a quick check to see if it could be real or not before even phoning.

To visit a guy in a hotel I would:-

1. Ask for room number
2. Name it has been booked in
3. Call the hotel and asked to speak with Mr X in Room XXX

On arrival at the hotel

4. Meet him in his room
5. Take the money

Should he wish to spend time with you in the bar you will probably have agreed this first and as long as you have done the above, there is no reason not too.

NEVER let anybody tell you that other girls work in another way and that you should do the same, the way you choose to work is for your own safety and, as said by many on these forums, if it does not feel right do not do it.

Well.... I don't.  (Edited to add: I mean that I *do* go to hotels without ringing the room.)

I only go to hotels in the city centre, so within walking distance. I already screen for them sounding like decent fellows over the phone. I've never had a problem. One time a guy gave a room number that I discovered did not exist. I called him and he was very apologetic - he'd given me the name of the wrong hotel. It was only a short walk away.

One time I did take a booking at a hotel out of the city centre and then I did ring the room like everyone else. Because it required significant travel to get there.

Rubbish. Most girls with half a brain cell ring the guy in his room before setting off. What he was saying was a classic manipulation trick to get you to bypass your own booking procedures.I once had something similar when I answered a withheld number I told him he had to book with a number showing. He replied with other girls let me book on a private...well go ring one of them then tara.

A sensible escort will always do checks on an outcall otherwise your open to be sent on a wild goose chase. Always ask to be put through to the room UNLESS of course your meeting someone you know well already and trust x

I think that is a bit harsh....

We all work in different ways and should somebody be using a system that has worked for them for a while then none of us are able to judge them for what they do.

My way above is a simple 5 step procedure but you can still have a problem. I have also had "Idiots" book me for an out-call to visit them at home and find that they are not home, or at least not answering the door, when I arrive.. This can also happen in a hotel room. No method is "fool-proof".

It might be harsh but its true. Of course we have to always go with what works for us personally but the girls that don't have simple procedures in place are the ones that will get more hassle than the rest of us x

Exactly even if the place is within walking distance you still need to get ready and make sure you have everything then actually walk there, by calling your saving yourself the chance of a wasted journey.

My guess is that the person has not had such problems or they would change the way they work.

When I first started working I used to leave the money by the side of the bed, I was told not too and the person was right. It ended in tears with a regular pushing me on the bed and taking a refund before running away with the money. The worst part of it, apart from the initial shock, was that I lost a regular.

I have read on forums of other girls that still operate that way and others that will not take the money up front. My guess is, as above, that they also have not had a problem with the way they work and, as I did, as soon as they do they will re-think their approach.

Sarah,I was referring to what the client told the o.p.She was asking what others do regarding outcalls, the general consensus seems to be that most ladies ensure the guy is in the room before setting off.
I was not having a go at how other ladies might conduct themselves. It didn't seem that the o.p was questioning the way she works either but rather seeing if other girls don't do these checks as this guy was trying to say that other w.gs don't do these checks anymore.
I was saying rubbish to a guy obviously trying to make the o p think she was doing something other girls don't.
I would say doing security checks of some sort is common sense.
Hope that cleared it up if not feel free to drop me a pm.
