did you guys get more views on your aw profile after changing from homemade to professional studio photos?? it happened to me about a year ago I was only using normal ordinary photos then had a shoot done in central London in a well known studio which I?m sure many of you have had your shoots done there too, and from the moment I put up my professional photos, I got about 3-4 times more messages on AW, and calls, wondering if everyone experienced the same
-
Yup, I did indeed. Although I always make sure to at least have one unedited photo xx

Changing photos always gets the phone ringing. I'm sure that appealing photos get more views but not sure if that translates to more bookings as many guys are suspicious of glossy photos.
I think a mix of pro and amateur is a good idea. Best of both worlds.

Yeah I have a mixture of selfie and pro ones I got my client to take some lovely photos of me in Dubai at the top of the burj kalifa and it made a massive difference as guys new I was actually there in Dubai from my photos

I don't know about views but I can't remember a time when I didn't have a mix of both.
None of my professional photos are edited any more than the selfies though.

I've only got selfies on my profile. For me, views on AW need to translate into actual business. I've been thinking of getting a professional photo shoot.
Has anyone found an increase in bookings from using professional photos?

Yup, I only work a few times a month, but the days I do work, since getting my new professional photos, I've been having to turn bookings down because I get fully booked up for the day within a few hours, sometimes before I even get to the hotel. But like I said, I have two professional ones and one selfie type picture and from those you can see that the professional ones haven't been edited or air brushed to an inch of their life.

Thanks Roxy,
I've been thinking about professional images for a while. I've been lazy and complacent but I need to increase business. Your success has has motivated me to book a photo shoot.

So have I, but I convinced myself that I 'should' have some pro pictures for my new website. Over 400 quid later I still had nothing as they were horrendous and completely unusable - I took a new set myself and they were very popular (I haven't any idea about 'views' because I've never checked mine and most of my business comes from my site, not AW) then I did some more a few weeks back and found the same again - I don't normally have less work than I need anyway, but I noticed regulars I hadn't seen for ages coming back as well as noobs.
I think having good quality NEW photos is what makes the difference, not who took them. It does depend on how you're marketing yourself though - everybody's different and somebody going for the glossy, Supa-Glama style won't have the same requirements as somebody doing down-to-earth GFE :).

My professional pictures works really well for me, they were very expensive, but looks very good. I noticed I get more genuine men, I definitely get a lot more work. And I made back my money for the pictures in the first 2 days :)

Professional photos do work,
I have a mix of professional and selfies on my profile as well.
It's definitely worth spending the money on them.
Going to get some more done after Xmas.
I want to get my next set done by dollhouse photography on Birmingham, has anyone used them?
They say on their site that the allow you to use their own clothing and they have tons of it(saves someone a fortune on outfit changes)
-
I find that clients do ask for lingerie I've worn in shots, usually my professional photos and for that reason I would be reluctant to wear clothing that didn't belong to me.
I'm useless with a camera and have a mix of pro and amateur photos on AW, pro shots only on my website. Clients get excited about the professional shots, and I know I've spurred previous regulars to rebook with new sets. For me it's worth it but I have had to go through a period of trial and error with various photographers to get the right images for me. I've had a couple completely waste my time.

Oh I was more thinking of an extravagant corset that requires someone else to put It on you.
Something i wouldn't wear in a booking.
Fancy knickers etc i have enough of anyway.
Last time I had a photo shoot I spent a few hundred quid on outfits that I still wear now, so would be reluctant to do it again on top of the cost of having the photos.
Need new photos as a year old now, good to have a refresh x

Don't wear anything in photos that you're not willing to wear in bookings. Well, that's somewhat of an exaggeration. I have things that I'm not keen to put on. When I'm on tour I have a convenient excuse. But if you wear an elaborate corset with six suspender straps and seamed stockings and you actually hate putting that shit on to order, you may find yourself very frustrated and annoyed. Same goes for anything latex.

+1 on the clients asking you to wear what's in your professional pics. Almost half the bookings I get since having my professional pics taken I've been asked to wear 'such and such' from my pics. The first is a ?300 agent provocateur set, and it's white, so i don't want to keep wearing it for 1 hour or 30 minute bookings. Especially since it takes 15 minutes to put on with all the straps. I'll usually only wear it for 2+ hour outcalls and don't take it with me for in calls. If it's an hour incall I just bring my second slightly cheaper set and tell them I can wear that for them. Haven't had any complaints yet.
Also, I can also vouch for the fact it brings back old clients. I've had a lot of clients that I haven't seen in 6+ months arrange bookings and mentioning that they saw my new pictures.
-
Nope.I found I got more profile views and bookings when I started to use more amateur photos.
-
Well I splashed out on a ?600 photo shoot and I must admit best ?600 I ever spent. Bookings went through the roof! Even loads of old regs got in contact again and said love your new photos and booked.

Good photographs are vital to getting work but finding a good photographer is very difficult it seems ???

Depends where you are. In London it isn?t difficult at all.
