Mine have to confirm by 10am, or the booking is early then an hour beforehand. I get back from the gym around 8.30-8.45am and switch on my phone, so they have a fair amount of time to text (they can text at 5am if they want to, I just won't see it until 9).

Half hour gaps between, so if somebody faffs about I still have time to change linen/shower/get ready for the next one :D

Most who confirm at 9am do turn up. It seems to be the ones who book on the day that don’t. I’ve had the odd advanced booking confirm then “something come up” but I then insist on half of the previous booking and the full “new” booking. That has worked for a few people.
I have tried deposits but I’m having very little luck. I’m getting less bookings.

I seem to attract the paranoid types who think of I don’t respond I’ve run off 😂.

I'm the exact reverse- the ones that book on the day mostly turn up...that's quite funny in a way. I wonder why that is?
Same day bookings I make them confirm 30-60 minutes before the meet.

Prior to deposits I had just as many on the day not go ahead, even 30 minutes notice. After reading posts here I would ask same day to confirm 30 minutes beforehand, or if within that 10 minutes before. Also I would not drop or change anything if I was on my way to the gym, bank, whatever or personal stuff I would carry on not accept the booking, not turn around.

I leave 30-45 minutes in between bookings. Sometimes they're late to arrive and the next one arrives early. I like time to have a cuppa and freshen up.

Morning advance bookings need confirming before 8am (as that's when I start taking  calls) afternoon or evening bookings (even if made that morning) 2 hrs before.

Yes- I count advanced as anything booked not on the day. So if they book on a Tuesday for Wednesday, they’d need to confirm at 9am. If they booked on the day, they wouldn’t. Sorry for confusion.
