Diary questions
« on: 05 June 2022, 07:26:01 pm »

Sorry if the title is vague. I couldn’t think of a better term.

I mostly do incalls one day a week at a hotel and give myself half and hour between. This only leaves four “workable” hours. Now, not all of those hours are filled every week.
I also, at the moment, have set times( to allow half an hour between) and insist clients must book/schedule  one of those four slots.
I think I need to look at my scheduling as I get fed up of waiting around. I’ve started charging deposits with mixed results. I’m also looking at introducing half an hour slots again but they wouldn’t fit my current schedule system. I also find half an hours hard work as they never seem to leave on time. So I’m asking two questions:
How much time do you leave between appointments?
How do you schedule appointments?  Do you have set appointment times?

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Like you, I also leave 30 minutes between appointments. I personally work from a rented flat t so I'm not worried about my schedule and can work anytime : when someone contacts me and the person seems decent and passes my screening process, they can come anytime between 11am until 8pm.

How come you only have 4 "workable" hours per day at the hotel ? Is it because you use "dayuse" rooms ? If that's the case I would suggest you maybe do incalls an extra day per week (2 days in a row if you wish and are able to) so you can book the hotel "per night" and not "per day" so it leaves you more room for flexibility with your appointments timing (for example you book 2 nights in the hotel and you can even ask for early check in and late check out so you can get extra hours).  :)

The only appointments I will definitely see are those who paid a deposit. Everyone else I fit around this. Most my bookings are last minute anyway so 20 or 30 mins to get ready. I do put on my profile I prefer a deposit and 30 minutes notice and no other bookings are secure. I've not had any clash this week. I did have two then up at the same time once but the second man agreed to wait and didn't complain.

When I offer incalls its from a hotel, so to avoid any suspicion I tend to leave an hour to 90 minutes between each booking.  I am also relatively low volume & will only see 3 guys/4 guys within a 10/12 hour day (I book 2 continous nights for tours & tend to not see anyone on the morning I am leaving because I like to be up and heading home)

Deposits for first time clients to me is now a must. If they're late then that comes out of their time, unless they have given prior warning and it's been agreed. I use an incall flat and when they try pushing it for time I say they are welcome to pay for another hour as I'll need to pay the couple who own the flat for the extra time, otherwise the bloke will come knocking wondering if everything is okay if they're not out bang on time. I used to say exactly the same when I worked from home. When I used hotels I'd say I was sharing the room with a friend because we are both low volume and she has a client afterwards as an excuse to get them to sod off on time. I always leave minimum half an hour between bookings, but ideally 45mins to allow for innocent and courteous lateness. If they're good regulars then half an hour is fine for me.

The time I leave between clients and the time I actually have, varies as some finish early, arrive early etc.

I don't tolerate lateness and manage that well so it's never an issue.

I book appointments at half hourly intervals and that works well for me. I work from 10am until 9pm if I'm on a roll but I don't like working too late as I need my sleep.

I'm very strict with appointments and run a reserve list too.

Anna:
I did try two days but I just wasn’t getting the bookings. It would be sporadic. I use day use and can’t stay over due to child care issues. It’s a good idea though.

SaltySweet:
I’d be nervous of abuse if I double booked but the reserve list is something I might look into.

Escortx:
Are people happy to fit around and not pay deposit? What If they don’t, and someone else books? Do you turn them away?

Busty:
Part of the reason i decided on a gap was due to working in a hotel. But I think they have kind of guessed it.

Pussycat:
I’m lucky that I only have the odd person who is hard to leave. Most are pretty good about it.

KBP:
How do you manage a variety of times? I did try it and ended up getting overly confused

Hi pink I like how you answered everyone, pretty cool.yay sometimes I have two people on the reserve for a single slot and I've checked who's physically nearest.

I'm not sure what kind of abuse you have in mind?

Good news I've not had any whatsoever. I'm curious what you feel might happen tho!

I was going to quote but I’d thought it would be huge!

Thanks for Answering my question.  :) . I’m definitely going to look at a reserve list.

I work in a hotel and I’m worried I’d get someone kicking off. I know realistically they can’t do anything but it just worries me.

Oh i got you i work hotels too.
If they don't have your room number till you decide you want to see them theres low likelihood.

Not sure what stage you reveal your number it but i don't tell them till they passed my door.if they look unsuitable for any reason i turn the phone off.this applies at home or hotels single or double booked.
I normally tell them when they say they’ve parked.
Knowing my luck, if I let them pass the hallways they make such a show of it and be indiscreet  ;D
