Title: Deposits info
Post by: Rosesugar on 15 August 2019, 04:15:54 pm
Are ladies accepting aw credits as a deposit .
I've not tried it yet .
Which other way do you accept is it via PayPal or bank transfer?
If they refuse to leave the deposit  of your choice before hand how do you handle that situation
If your deposit hasn't credited and they have  arrived  do you still go ahead or cancel
Sorry it's all new to me but my main aim was to deter time wasters and see if genuine clients would co operate.

I take a gift card.
PayPal they can get back by contacting PayPal and disputing it.
I’m not yet brave enough to do bank transfers.
I ask everyone if they’d like to secure the booking with a deposit.
If they say no I just warn them that without a deposit the booking can be given to another if they choose to send a deposit for that time slot.
After this they either send a deposit or don’t, but from their reply you can quite often tell if they’re planning on showing or not.
E.g : no way I don’t do deposit, you’re a scam - probably not gonna show, eh
Eg : I’d prefer not to send a deposit, but I’ll be there at 3oclock on the dot, looking forward to seeing you. I understand though if you do have someone pay a deposit but please let me know. Thankyou. - probably a nice guy, ?!
Xx

Thanks Eve that's helpful  :)
Going to get different reactions from punters I expect
It's interesting to find out how ladies approach this to suit them
What works

It depends on how much you spend on AW - they take a hefty cut if you want actual money for your credits.

Never use PayPal: they don't like sex work and will close accounts (and keep the money) as well as the issue of chargebacks.

Do a search for 'deposits' to get other ideas (Amazon, phone credit, prepaid cards etc).

If they don't follow your booking and screening process, don't see them. Easy.

Absolutly .right I'll check out the Amazon etc.

Is there an appealing way to word it on the profile and does it go into faq section first or main body of info ?
I'd be telling them as well

I have it as a faq on my aw.
And in the part of my profile where I outline ‘how to book’ with me.
I simply state that from new clients I’ll ask for a small deposit.
Non refundable blah blah... whatever terms you’re going to use for deposits you’d write in.
And whenever someone is arranging I’ll obviously then personally ask if they’d like to secure with a deposit. Bc as we all know they don’t read the profile lol xx

No deposit no booking, simple as that.

AW have strict rules about credits, as far as I understand it is against their rules to use AW credits for a deposit (partly because it's paying for an actual service). I advise reading their rules carefully.

I accept bank transfer (the bank I bank with do not allow 3rd party pay ins in branch), and Amazon gift cards.

I know more and more escorts are implementing deposit systems, but it is worth bearing in mind that many punters would never dream of paying one. Be interesting to see how you get on.

I found and still find I have to be consistent, and maintain the requirement no matter what they say. The reason I brought it in was because of the number who would say they'd turn up and just didn't. I still get cancellations however I have found the deposit reduces the amount of cancels and no shows, and provides some compensation if I've turned others away, makes up for some of the time I put in fielding some enquiries, plus the deposit is motivational for me.

There are lots of factors though. For example, if you do out-calls in a geographically more remote area where there are few escorts, a deposit system is more likely to work than say if you're offering standard GFE in-calls in London, for example. i.e. the more difficult/specific the booking is to secure, the more likely the punter will be willing to pay a deposit.

Except I receive a lot of bookings from men all over the country - from areas of lots of Escorts, this both incalls (travel to me) and outcalls to them. Some are travelling long distances from these areas of plenty, or are asking me to visit them in locations where there are plenty much much closer, and much cheaper who do not require deposits.

But that could be because of your particular and unusual physique... I was making a general point that the more standard or easy the booking should be, the less incentive there is for clients to pay a deposit. If someone is difficult to get a booking with, or options are limited geographically, or an SP offers a unique service etc. etc., a deposit scheme will be more viable.

Il defiantly use it on the time wasters.  :D
Many of my callers are not aw members could they pay another way than evouchers ?
I certainly don't want them knowing my bank details

With Amazon gift certificates, all they need to know is an email address.

So it's really each to  our own discretion as to the amount we ask for .
Does the higher the  rate of your booking determines your deposit amount or is it the same regardless .ie 10 evoucher for a £60.00 service
2 hour booking £50.00 Deposits

Or a phone number and it comes through as a text message. :)

I base mine on booking length and sometimes the travel involved - which is usually related to the total value.

That could be true as it could be true of anyone here. When I first started deposits (and was offered them) I was a different shape and size, I've varied quite a bit yet clients have travelled to me and me to them for a long time.

I will ask for a deposit (bank transfer or Amazon gift card), for new clients who; want to book "peak times", want specific outfits wearing (I tour so have to pack them), or if I have a gut feeling they are a timewaster.

I normally only ask for a deposit if they've let me down before.  I always ask them to deposit/transfer it into my business account.  I was of the understanding that AW doesn't like deposits being paid to them and if they find out they close your profile.

I've had 3 AW clients each with 10 us great reviews muck me about even after they sent me a £50 deposit via PayPal and Amazon. A refreshed lesson to me reminding me that nobody is to be trusted. Short story is 2 paid for me to turn up and they just looked, the other kept changing hotels and sent so many texts and emails it was unnerving. He cancelled at last minute then harassed via same. I guess that amount of money isn't much to some and they got discounted entertainment.
Amazon preferred but then my username is my Amazon account name and I get stuff sento my home address so that doesn't feel the best way.

Tw  oh I didn't realise
Me yes it's 20.00 before hand
Tw ok  can I call back
Me sure
Tw text I don't really want  to leave a deposit babe

The valuable bit is the string of a dozen or so letters and numbers - which email address (or phone number) it was sent to doesn't matter. Only the account you are logged into at Amazon does.

Even if they know the same email address as Amazon, they don't get to see your address, never mind what you spend it on.

If anyone wants to send me £50 for not having sex with me, my email address is...

I just let them do a bank transfer. It’s an account that’s usually empty anyway.

Maybe charge more deposit for out calls. Or a combination of name on hotel room to call through to them in room before going there. Not sure guys knowing they were going to mess about would want their real name known. Or if private address ask for copy of something showing they’re address before.

Ian, you made me laugh.
I am paranoid about someone at Amazon seeing my email name and knowing it is my work name.
Name on hotel room is a good idea K212. Or a home bill. Thanks

I send deposit vouchers to my personal Amazon, perhaps they might cross reference who knows but I suspect they don't have the time.

Quite a few are just the codes from the back of cards bought in shops.
