Deposit for booking
« on: 12 July 2013, 01:35:10 pm »
I must have been dreaming otherwise, but I could have sworn I read on a thread on here that someone was saying they asked for a deposit first before the booking went ahead.

If I wasn't dreaming and this was the case, how would it work? Surely if we all asked for a deposit, clients wouldn't be willing to put a small fee down!

Can deposits work if you know the client? E.g. they put a small fee down before meeting, which is either reimbursed or taken off the price if they meet.

Like I said, sorry if I have just spouted a load of nonsense, but I could have sworn  I'd seen a thread here somewhere and was curious to know more.

The best way to find this thread and a fair few more on the subject would be to type the word 'deposit' into the Search box :).

I often take ?40 deposit and then ?100 at the booking via Prime card. 101 treads on the subject though, that tell you all the different methods x
