Decrease in hour bookings
« on: 23 October 2022, 09:22:30 am »
Is anyone else seeing a complete reduction in hour bookings?

I went to wales the other day and did 6 half hours this would never normally happen. I used to love getting at least two hour long bookings a day to get me past the 500 mark. I’m finding it so difficult to service this many men to get to my target and to pay the increased hotel prices.

I don’t think clients understand just how much the hotels and petrol are costing us. Then I’m getting asked for unlimited cum in half hours now.

I feel like the media is frightening people and they are tightening their belts. I’ve already reduced my rates by £40 on the hour and half hour to the point where if it goes any lower I would have to retire.

Clients are obviously understanding the costs, many people are feeling the pinch, you do realise there is a cost of living crisis don’t you  :FF it doesn’t just apply to us.

Well to be fair, there's no reason why punters should know or care what our business expenses are? I don't know what my manicurists rent and electricity bills cost because it's nothing to do with me.

As TT has posted, the idea that 'the media' are to blame when the cost of basic life essentials like food, utilities and rent/mortgage payments is demonstrably rocketing is just weird; if people have less money for discretionary spending then of course they'll make shorter or cheaper bookings. I'm a bit biased as I prefer half hour bookings but even if you don't (and I worked in hotels for long enough that I understand it's a pain needing more towels and so on), surely it's better than them not booking at all? It's a sign that they want to see you rather than booking somebody cheaper who they can get an hour with for not much more and that's got to be good :).

Do you offer 45 minute bookings? I find these popular and you can pitch them right in the middle for those who wince at paying for an hour but for whom a half hour isn't quite enough.

I have noticed this happened to me on 2 tours and i was someone who got more hours then 30 mins. I never used to do many 30 mins.

Cost of living affecting things. I block people that ask for 15 mins or cheaper i won't entertain them because they are either too lazy to read my profile telling them this is not what i do or they are pushing there luck hoping i will be quiet and agree to there cheap price..
Zero chance with me ever.

GG if you already reduced your prices by 40 which is quite a bit then i agree better to retire if it gets so bad.

I know of many civvy people that earn more then sex workers in a week or a month, sure some of our hour prices look like a lot of money but it's not as we don't get paid for 8 hrs and hotels are harder to get under 100 now days. I used to mostly book only 4 star hotels now some are very average hotels to basic because of the prices.
