Decorating Flat (Working from Home)
« on: 28 June 2012, 11:31:10 am »
Hey everyone,

I was wondering whether to decorate my flat based on my personal taste or based on what clients may like- or expect from a 'high class escort'?

It's only one bedroom, so I have to work and sleep in the same place.

I'm talking mainly soft furnishings and colour schemes  :)

All punters expect from a 'high class escort' is high fees. From what I can gather from punters, if Ikea/Argos sell it, it's in.

Provided it's clean, tidy and comfortable I don't think it matters. I'd keep your personal stuff well out of the way and err towards minimalist but more because it's a lot easier to maintain, and there's less to get broken/stolen/to cause any accidents. If anything, it's important to base choices on practicality rather than looks - don't put anything you don't mind throwing away where they're going to have access to it, for example. Lesson learned on that one with some very nice (and expensive) shearling cushions I used to like  >:(.

Bed, Lamp, air-con,chest of draws: for lube condoms toys tissues & wet wipes.
My 'Office' is done out a bit like a motel room with fire egress sign on the back of the door
and Gideon Bible in the top draw...
It's just an anonymous room. There's nothing in the drawers. But you look anyway. Nothing except the Gideon bible, which I, of course, read religiously.

Go for what you like.  You will have to live with it 24/7 where as clients will be there for a few hours max and go home.  And whatever one client thinks is great, another client is going to think it's the worst thing they have ever seen.  You can't please everyone, so you might as well please yourself.

To be honest I don't think blokes take that much notice of decor as long as it's clean.  I mean all the men I know in my non working life take forever to figure out that a rooms been painted/decorated or furniture has been moved about.

i wouldnt worry about this, ive never worked from anything even remotely 4* (my old gaff was a council flat) and i never bought much furniture, it was pretty crap tbh and bright pink in the bedroom :), ive just moved and my house is a mess as well as I have no bed frame and havnt for a while as my pole dancing pole took up all the room in my bedroom, so mattress it was

this has never bothered any clients (i dont think), and theyve always maintained they are coming to see me and not my house

now i have 3 bedrooms to play with and am getting a bed this week finally, however im not planning on seeing clients in my bedroom for much longer once iv sorted my house and have one pole dance and exercise room, one incall room and my own bedroom which will be client free :)

i dont mind having my clients in my room like you but i think some ladies would hate that!

Hey now, Jodie, you don't want the punters thinking that they are going to be targeted for an assassination! ;)

I just have furniture of my choice, inexpensive from ikea. My bed is pushed into the corner to make way for my pole lol. I just bought a cheap duvet and pillows so I had seperate work and personal sheets. It's pretty anonymous, I just have a black and white scheme. When I manage to buy a house I too am hoping to get a 3 bed so I can have a separate work room. X
