Hello! I have my first outcall tonight, and I'm really nervous.
« on: 02 September 2023, 07:52:32 pm »
Hello! So normally I do only incalls and always at a hotel. I feel like I'm in a safe place and in charge.

Tonight, though, I'm going to a punter's house for an overnight. I'm really nervous! He seems great, so I'm not worried about him particularly.

But is there anything I should do differently? Should I make sure my car is parked there in case I need a quick getaway? Do I need to scout out the space? I assume I should always keep my stuff where I can see it. Should I get a copy of his ID? Gah!

I would really appreciate any help, advice, or support. Thank you!

If you haven’t already, you should take deposit from him. I never go to an outcall without deposit.
An overnight for the first outcall booking is brave  ;D and deffo deposit for such a long time. Park nearby but I don’t think you should park directly outside. Good luck

Hi Jade! This is probably too late but do you have a security buddy? It's ideal to have someone call you/you call them when you get in the house and then when you leave. And do you have proof of his identity and address?
Remember you're entitled to dinner and sleep. I hope it all goes well, enjoy!

For an overnight I'd be finding something very safe to put my money in (I used to have a coat with one pocket unpicked so it fell right down in the lining, and velcro on a small bag or pouch is good too), making sure my security buddy knew exactly where I was and what time I would be leaving, and obviously doublechecking that the punter is actually at the address he's claiming to be.

I would also want some assurance that nobody else could access the place, but that's a difficult one as obviously he's hardly going to say if a group of mates are going to turn up (which is one of the many reasons I don't visit private residences). Don't park your car where it can be seen, and all the obvious stuff like don't accept food or a drink unless you've seen it unsealed and opened first.

I've never taken deposits (once, I think when a flight was involved), but you can do that too if there's time? If you can sleep then fine but even if you can't that doesn't mean you have to put up with being mauled about all night; I never got any sleep on overnights, and I haven't done them for years.

Edit: cross posted with Flo :)

Amy, the pocket tip is brilliant! Definitely stealing that!  :)

Thanks, everyone! I took as much of your advice as I could, and it went well!!

The guy was not my cup of tea and I didn't get a wink of sleep, but otherwise no problems!

Thanks again for the support!  :)

Good to hear it went OKish - they're definitely not for me, but I'm far too old and ratty to keep Work Me switched on for more than about ninety minutes ;D.

Count your money again :D
