Do you charge less for them?

Got a email asking for a wedding date rate for 12 hours.

Yes personally I charge twice less for social meetings.

This depends on the exact arrangement. I can find in private bookings easier than social, and it's still time in which I could have full rate bookings.

I calculate my time off ( potential earnings average) plus, ease of booking if it's going to fun, sometimes it somewhere good and fee accordingly on that basis.

I have a Valentines date and my fee is only a couple of hours ( my rate) but I'm eating and having a night out, with someone handsome and pleasant, like it's a date .

I got worse on a dating site and I like sex so it's great lol

You can't go wrong.

For me a meal isn't always a treat or possible, because dining, fine wine, chocolate etc is viewed as a treat, I do find some potential clients offer it thinking it'll make things easier when in fact sometimes it'll be a reason for me not to accept.

As you say if it's convenient, and beneficial then a good rate can be agreed. That's why I ask for a rough guide type plan from the client, so I can reduce the fee if necessary.

Hi Mirror Ihave to careful what I eat too at the moment due to a medical issue , but really it's a pretty lonely job. I don't go out much at all , so I quite enjoy a decent conversation , about current affairs ( a little) and a chat , good laugh ( that's important can't stand miserable , boring guys ) wouldn't go otherwise .

I'd stay in , but for me it's a bonus as I rarely work nights anyway , and I'd only take one booking from someone I know ( neighbours etc),

I guess it would depend on several factors, probably wouldn't do a wedding it's a very draining affair where you meet lots of people and being social is expected plus that's a whole 12 hours of your time that you could be taking bookings for that are paying your full rate so you could actually lose money if you're not careful. If you plan to do it then you need to treat it as you would an overnight or other similar long booking and calculate a fee that feels fair to you.

Remember you don't have to take every single booking request you get, oh and you should ask for a deposit of some sort for any long booking you make where you're putting off other bookings for a large block of time. Could still be a TW.

I'd want at least ?2k for a wedding. Fucking hell, they're shit enough as it is when you at least know a few people. And yes, a hefty deposit.

Hahahaha. I don't even go to weddings I'm invited to unless I absolutely have to and even then I can't remember the last one where I didn't manage to successfully fuck off during the speeches :D.

As for social-only bookings I wouldn't do one full stop, but if I did I'd want my normal rate and possibly more given that I would find it far harder, more inconvenient and uncomfortable than just getting on with the shagging.

It is a bit odd now that I think about it, he wants to book your time for 12 hours to go to a wedding, what is he planning for you to do with all that time? Sit and talk to his friends and family so they think he has a girlfriend? I've had bookings that involve a social aspect I've done an overnight where I went to dinner and to a concert with the guy but he still wanted sex in the hotel. I feel like the guy might be trying to get a much lower rate then he'll try to push sex on you anyway.

The church wedding is at 11.30 and then there is the night reception, is it odd, I don't think it is odd but what do I know ??? He wants his family to think I am his girlfriend.

Saturday for me are dead, occasional calls from drunk guys at 2 am but by then my phone is off

Surprised people don't like weddings!!!!

If he wants extras on the day he can pay for them, I am getting good at saying no now and even not feeling guilty.

Have you met this guy before? It could very well be a timewaster or fantacist.I think it sounds pretty dubious having to spend 12 hours at a family event pretending that you are his GF.

This! It's fucking weird you're gonna probably gonna be in these wedding photos, if you're not on the same level looks and age wise it's gonna look odd too and you're gonna have to act all lovey with kisses and hand holding

Does it, I am not sure, going to ask for a deposit before I confirm the booking

I know people who are in relationships with large age gaps. I can kiss and hold hands, that is not a problem

Really? Lol it's really boring all you do is stand around doing nothing until you eat and get very drunk watching other people be happy and get all the attention on themselves. I'm sorry I just find it boring sitting in a cold church watching the same routine followed by small talk and standing around for photos forever.

Don't like it when it's people I know so going to the wedding of somebody I don't would be even more mind numbingly boring.
