Hi,
Just wondering how you go about cutting off clients who are regulars that you have offered them lower rates? This might go to my previous post, should I tell them I'm booked for the day or something came up, just block and move on? I realize lowering rates/doing risky activity is no good, want to start fresh. Plus, these clients are a lot of work and often they take advantage by wanting to go multiple times or staying past the time etc. It's quite annoying, one even made me catch a cold.
Thank you!

Do you mean clients who you’ve given a lower rate to because they are regulars?
Sorry my tired brain didn’t quite catch the arrangement. Soz xx
-
Yes! I gave them discounted rates because they are regulars. Want to start fresh.
-
Ahh okay!
I’d say just to change the rates on whichever site you advertise and then when they ask for a booking refer them to the site, and polite as pie ask them to read over the new rates.
If they’re regulars they may not want to see someone new? So they’ll be happy enough with the new rates.
However ! Your site rates I’m guessing are your typical and you aren’t wanting to higher your rates at all? Sorry I’m confusing this haha.
I think the best thing to do is to just tell them the rates when they ask for a booking.
“Can I see you again this Friday? “
“Yes that’s fine, (please see my profile for the rate for that session), (that is £150 for the hour)”.
At the end of the day, it’s your body, your service, your business, who can charge whatever you want to. If you (and you don’t seem that bothered about) aren’t worried that they’ll not book again, then it shouldn’t be a big deal to just tell them that they’ll be charged the original rates from now on.
Xx

I have a regulars offer where if someone visits me more than once a month, my half hour rate is reduced by £10 and my hourly rate reduced by £20. I was just trying to make sure I see more regulars than new, I find it less stressful.
If I decided to stop it, I’d just tell them when they call or text to book. Make something up “my outgoings have increased so I’m no longer able to offer a discounted rate for you, I’m really sorry!”
-
When I raised my rates and changed services and regs got in touch wanting to book I replied with something like: Hi yes I can see you but please have a look over my profile as some of my services and rates have changed and get back to me if you would still like to go ahead.
I would say about 80% got back to me and moved to the new services/rates with no issue. The other 20% I didn't want returning anyway. :)

It's very common for all business to increase rates
You certainly don't need to explain yourself .
If your fed up with these regulars whom have got a better lower fee then take up new ones instead.
So you think the regulars will pay the higher rates and return ?
If they are happy to see you they will pay your new rates as eve says
If not as you say they were pushing boundaries any way and can be replaced.
-
I don't give discounts to regulars. When my fees have gone up I just do the same as the other girls and tell them the new fee.
-
I had quite a few clients who I kept on low rates, these often tended to be those who liked to overstay which created a bit of a double whammy.
Some turned up with the new higher rates every time I raised, and these often did not hang around or expect or want extra time.
Generally over the years some of the lower raters peeled off, some were unreliable or moved on of their own accord. A few who were unreliable/difficult I advised I'd given benefit of the doubt plus lower rate, couldn't continue in same way. They either stopped, or started to be on time, or turned up with the new rate. Over time newer clients filled in the gaps and stuck.
I still have a few on lower rate some inbetween, but there became a date from which I stopped offering anyone else lower rates.
-
;D ;D council tax increase each year, right? people is used to it! why not your rates?
sounds logic! ;D
-
Yeah haha I just told one of them that my outgoings have unfortunately increased. He responds: "really, why is that" how nosey hahahahaha I seriously don't know how I have put up with it.
-
I have found over the years if you give too many discounts and privileges to regulars/returnees they end up taking the pee and expecting the earth. It really isn't a good idea to lower your rates for them too much.

One of my first ‘regulars’ suggested to me I create a kind of ‘loyalty card’, so for example every fifth booking the next ones free.
As if I’m a cup of coffee, (he used the word Costa), or a ride at the fair. Lmao.
I politely told him I’d definitely think about something like that, but it was unlikely ...
aaaand he never booked again. So much for ‘loyalty*’ HAHA
(I’m joking btw: I know loyalty isn’t to be expected or believed in this, lol)

Well Eve ~
I don't know why you thought this was unreasonable. I mean, we're charging Starbucks amounts, so of course we should offer loyalty cards.🙄
Im going to start this! For every 25 visits, you get one free! *cackles maniacally*
-
I actually DO offer a loyalty card scheme... It works for me.
I think for good regulars I'd keep them at old rates for say, six months or a year maybe, but you need to be careful not to overdo it.

But please tell me you don’t give them a whole session for free ?! :-X

Yep. I've never understood the pearl-clutching that goes on around escorting - if it's a business like any other, surely 'sales' and other promotions are just as valid? Some escorts offer cheaper bookings during the morning, or their time of the month etc., I offer a freebie. It's equivalent to the average time of the five bookings they need to qualify for it. If someone's had five bookings with me, I can 'bear' giving them a freebie. The only person I never saw again after the freebie was my choice.
-
If I was in one place rather than touring, the "Buy 9, get 10th free" would totally work for me.
I';ve been wracking my brains for a loyalty scheme on tour, considering I never know when I'm going to be back in an area
-
I have a loyalty scheme which applies to only 2 clients and works well. It does not involve a completely free booking though. I don't clutch pearls but that would be going a bit too far for me.

WTF I can’t believe someone would have the gaud to suggest this! smh

Customers of various businesses make suggestions, it's up to the owner-trader to decide whether it's a good idea. I suspect for some it does work, as does having different rates for different hours.

I do deduct 10.00 off my 1.5hr rate anyway .
That's just for my regular guy who's been visiting for some time.

me too! i take off sometimes! honestly i try to control myself to offer too much discount.
sometimes i feel they deserve! but i do not often because i feel that i do not give to myself a worth! so i do not and i say to myself that i deserve much more than this...do not matter if they are coming each week! btw £10 or £20 i do!
i will not never for free btw and i do not judge people do it if they want to.
::) i do not see myself as product or service still...even if maybe i should! but yes promotion could be applied in our business!
ahah not on groupon yet!

I have one regular in a particular area who always gets a discount because I know I'm guaranteed an orgasm - but not just that, he's lovely to talk to and a very physically easy booking.
-
Yeah. Client just asked me again "why" I sent him a message back "my outgoings have recently increased".
Yeah, from my experience, I don't know, it seems like the boundaries get crossed too much when you give them too much of a discounted rate. Not knocking anyone who does it, as I have done it in my previous escorting experience, but to me, I find for some sort of reason it's almost like they start disrespecting you, or becoming too entitled. I understand it's nice to have someone who you know and are familiar with, but I don't know, for me I think I'm just going to keep searching for new clients. it's a little stressful since it's only the beginning of the month, but so far so good! I can let you guys know how it goes :)
