Whenever I have talked about the law in relation to sex, I have never claimed that it makes sense.

Why should some otherwise legal sex be illegal if someone paid someone else for it? Why should it be illegal to even possess images of some otherwise legal sex? There are many more.

So, particularly as it's getting a bit 'wives and servants' / 'won't someone think of the children?' can we leave it here? There are obviously people in their 30s and older who would be better off not doing sex work or being parents, and also people under 18 who could do either (or both) and find it a positive experience.
