Me again! Are you fed up with me yet?
I work from my own flat (rented) in a building with a few other tenants and have never had any problems. I?m not ?one a week booking type? of girl but I don?t see hundreds of guys either. I mention this so you know that medium-high foot traffic can still work if you?re careful and plan things.
Doing incalls from your own flat is definitely worth it (imo)
Answers to your questions:-
-How to be discreet e.g. nosey neighbours? I think the majority of people in my block are on DSS (from having spoke to my landlady), they seem to be in alot, but there is so many new faces here, I dont know who's a visitor and who's living here.
1. Make sure you don?t have bookings too close together, try to arrange them when tenants are out (you?ll get an idea of their habits after a while).
2. Worth mentioning the need to be discreet to guys so they don?t make an arse of themselves at your door. Be clear on directions and instructions so they don?t ring the wrong doorbell.
3. Try not to use buzzers, instead get them to call you so you can quietly open the door without the whole building knowing.
4. Music is good to play during the booking itself to drown out voices. Just be conscious of too much noise.
5. Mainly don?t be a nuisance and be nice to your neighbours. Don?t draw negative attention to yourself.
6. Think you?ll be ok, like you said if you can?t tell who is a visitor and who lives there, chances are others won?t be able to either.
-The legalities of working alone from your place e.g. NO other lady working there, only me?
You can?t get arrested for it so it?s legal in that sense but most tenancies have a clause forbidding the property from being used for business purposes. So don?t tell the landlord. If you pay your rent on time and are a model tenant, you'll be fine. Most landlords just want to be paid at the end day and as long as you're not trashing the place or turning it into drug den, there shouldn't be any issues
Hope that helps x
