I have never worked in one but I think that age doesnt really matter that much and some clients might prefer to have someone more mature as they might think they are going to get a better service and feel more comfortable with a women close or closer to their age.

Absolutely NOT! honey let me tell you...massage work can be even more in demand than escorting cause the people who dont pay for sex...will pay for a massage. Majority of the massuers I see are usually 28-45 years old. Its just that in the U.S. you cant run a parlour without a license. So many places have gotten busted over the years, namely the 'Asian spa' places.

Will the parlour help you learn some strokes? Or is it up to you to do so?

Joey, I appreciate that you feel a compulsion to add to every thread but some things are very different here in the UK.  Massage parlours rarely feature 'massages'!  They are a euphemism for working premises!

I'd hate to sound daft but since you said so I have to ask, why call it a massage parlour when it can just be a brothel. Isnt it legal there?

No brothels are not legal in the UK unlike some European countries.  It is perfectly legal for an independent lady to work by herself but currently premises with more than one lady and/or a maid or receptionist are not legal.  Massage parlours and saunas are supposedly offering just that but many so called saunas do not even have a sauna in the premises lol and many massage parlours have no one who is acutally a qualified masseuse lol.  The authorities kind of know but it is sort of tolerated to a point providing places are not in residential areas or keep a low profile

A 'massage parlour' here is a brothel, they just can't call themselves that.  You go to a beauty salon for a massage and a massage parlour for a shag, wouldn't want to confuse the two. ;D

hi abby, i am also brand spanking new to the business and to this website only been working about 4weeks and i am 39 i also thought i was to old but have found out that there is a demand for more mature ladies

Thanks for your input guys. I am still mulling it all over and checking out the places in the next city to where I live.
I am happy and content being independent it's just sometimes you need an extra omph in your income. I make enough here to pay bills, pay food and so on but it would be very nice to be able to have a holiday or not stress over Christmas (Yes, I know it is July). Ideally I would like to fast save for a flat to work from so I can really 'work'. It's maddening how often I have to say no to bookings due to family being home. I loose out a lot on work by working from home. I need a base away from here. I thought this might boost the income somewhat, make that possible.
I was very concerned about my age as it seems being my age as an independent is fine but I only ever see younger ladies at 'massage parlours' I guess it's not so thankfully.

Here in Canada not all massage parlours are brothels, also. Some are quite obvious, i'd say-- while others are not.

Im having a hard time differentiating the two here, and I suppose as this site is mostly UK girls, will not get much of an idea :(  I'd hate to have to email every single one and ask them their dos and donts and look daft.  I do know most the 'extras' are not mandatory.. as obviously extras make the girls more money, so why wouldnt they.  But i' just looking for massage.. nude/reverse etc.. no relief.  Sort of trying to gateway myself out of the biz.

If anyone has an idea, in Toronto -- please share :)
