Hi lovely’s, I’m turning 30 this year been escorting 7 years. I’ve developed some issues I think that are caused by the job, I had one guy pull my shoulders back while in doggy position and I felt a pull in my mid back the side of my spine this injured me quite badly couldn’t work my civvy job for months and I struggled with my back ever since, also my neck/base of my skull has progressively gotten worse which I can only assume is repetitive strain.
I’ve seen private physio and also had different scans and nhs physio where I’m told there’s nothing they can find! Private physio definitely helped a bit with the use of cupping/ red light therapy and acupuncture. I also go for Thai massage when I need a quick fix when it flares up. I stretch and do mobility every day, Pilates weekly. And recently back into weight training 3x a week.
But I have also learnt how to listen to my body, I think this is so important and I don’t think many women are aware of this. I never used to be when I started out doing this, I’d run my body to the ground just to be earning enough but no money in the world is worth more than your mental and physical health. Working with your hormones and cycle is highly beneficial and can get you more out of this job. This is what I have personally learnt anyway.
Another thing is that our bodies store emotions and trauma and it can manifest into ailments and pains, there is a book called “the body keeps the score” very interesting read. Therapy and other holistic treatments can help massively. I could go on forever as it’s something I’m really passionate about exploring so if any of you ladies have any questions or would like a chat about anything I would do my best to give recommendations and advice.
