Another option which would prove if he is a nice guy or not  :-\ would be to just ask him to put the money he owes you
(not the ?500, the excess when he overstayed) through your letterbox!  Tell him when you have received it you will consider
meeting him for that coffee.  You then have time to clear your head and make important decisions about this man.

London Honey. You have 2 threads going at the moment in which you mention being underpaid, but that you trust the men etc etc.
What's going on?
As other have said in the other thread, you  really need to set some boundaries and in my experience the really nice men are the ones who turn up, pay the going rate, have a good time and go away afterwards. Maybe they do it  every week, every month, every year or never again, but they are the good guys, not the ones who don't pay properly and then start on some ridiculous scheme of attempted manipulation.
You're running a business and you seriously need to be clear about that. If you decide to give someone a reduced rate because he's a very good regular or something then that's up to you, but it has to be on your terms and when and if you decide to do it.
In the case of this guy, I'd suggest you cut your losses and block his number, because there is absolutely nothing to suggest he will stick to his word and while you're wasting your time having coffee you could be seeing a decent client who pays you properly.

I've been 15 years in this industry (off and on) and I think Emiliy and sarita couldn't have explained it better.
