After a few incidents of being short changed, I started sending a text confirming the time and the fee. I don't know if I come across as materialistic or unprofessional or whatever, but since I've started this procedure I haven't had a single 'oh, I thought it was ?100' instead of let's say 120.

Don't worry how you come across, I don't think you come across as materealistic or unprofessional at all, it seems to have worked for you. I make it quite clear over the phone to my clients if they appear to have not read my profile that which ever profile they have seen me on my fees are made perfectly clear in black and white, they should note it down and turn up with the correct fee, I will not have them trying to dictate my prices. That seems to have worked too.

I think until we have been in the situation it is difficult to say what you would do .... especially if that one payment ... say 50GBP is the difference between you staying in the apartment or not.

Some may still say 'go' to the guy and others will see them for a lesser time, but IMO neither is wrong.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

This depends, if someone turns up with slightly less then they do run the risk of a wasted journey. I may however see them but instead agree a shorter time. I don't deliberately withhold services, or give anything less just because of this, the only time I would let something  affect me in this way would be repeatedly deliberate boundary pushing, or when combined with other disrespectful behaviour.

On the very odd occasion this has happened to me it does make  me wonder have they really just found themselves either short or misreading/forgetting my rates, or is there some reason they as an individual feel the need to try and get a slightly cheaper rate. Does it make them feel somehow good or clever? Luckily the number of guys who do go out of their way to make sure they do bring  the correct  fee, some even offering a tip more than makes up for the short changers.

Was i right to turn down a client who pretended to only have ?50 for my ?80 fee. And then magically turn out ?20 extra but still ?10 under my fee? He was so shocked that i would turn down ?70.

I think it's so rude and cheeky i turn ALL clients down no matter how far they've traveled to see me! Am i right to do this. Work is good for me right now so i'm allowed to pick and choose. How do you deal with these kind of clients because i seem to get a fair amount.

He knew your fee beforehand so knew full well what the deal was, if he didn't have the means to pay you (or was unwilling) fulfilling his part of it he shouldn't have booked you or turned up and wasted your time. Personally I'd resent seeing someone who feels that's an acceptable way to treat an escort booking, and if they're awkward about the fee before its began they'll probably be even more awkward during the session anyway so I'd just show them the door.

Once happend to me
i told to him:
i need the exact cash my agent asked you for,
i have to give percentage to her, if not i cant see you today,
he then immediately went to his hotel  safe and took the rest of the money
and he turn to be quite tender and gentleman, i cant deny i got scared at the beginning, i was at his hotel
its a risk, but if you need to work, ...
its your decision.

Take care

I do that  text sent just after booking confirming time /price / and the length of appointment  Never had someone turn up with less
its stop all the problems of  ohhh i thought it was ?50   or ?60 or i want your hour at ?100  (which is only on at set times  and they are arriving out of the set time )

I used to though get a few trying it on  before i started doing this

Lol, my very FIRST independent booking was one of these... he turned up with 2/3 of the fee (can't remember the excuse) I think he honestly expected me to be fine with it lol. I told him to go and see if he could find a cashpoint, not expecting to see him again, then lo and behold he was back in under 5min! Apparently his 'friend in the car' lent him the cash!  ::)

Yeah like others I think it's a matter of principle, guys who think they have the upper hand because once they turn up they expect us to go 'oh well, it's still better than nothing'! It does royally piss me off for the sheer cheek, but if I really can't get the full amount from them whether I send them away or offer a shortened booking depends on their attitude and my feelings at the time.

Some guys may pretend to have less money because they want to walk out. That happened to me. He was insistent on going to the cash machine for more. However, I explained he was better off having a shorter time because the walk to the cash machine would shorten his time anyway. He still insisted on going and didn't return.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

I had someone book an Outcall recently who was visibly shocked when I asked for payment upfront. He stuttered around asking could we 'negotiate the time/cost' previously agreed. I refused and asked politely for him to unlock his appt door for me to leave. I was angry, but relieved to leave without any hassle. I do offer shorter bookings for slightly less money but he had booked me for the hour  at the agreed price and had been very happy with me on my arrival. But the fact was I now didn't trust him at all and just wanted to get away. After he had tried to haggle, I would not have seen him for any amount of money, it is SO disrespectfu. Especially when part of my charge is comprised of the 40 mile round trip fuel/time costs.
I believe these sort of guys are trying to pull a fast one and could even try to grab the money back afterwards. I would much rather they didn't get any service and I left empty handed.
In over 4 years of Escorting this has only happened to me the once, at the very start when I took payments AFTER the service.
It was only a tenner short but I am livid to this day and I never made the same mistake again.  :)

I know I had a client do that to me. It wasn't about the money it was to do with him thinking he can dictate to me what he thought I was worth or give me the amount he wanted to based on the funds he had on him. It's damnright rude and sly. They don't go into a store and give the checkout assistant  xx amount of money for goods because that is all they want to pay, so why they think it is perfectly okay to do that to us is baffling.

Yes good that i'm not the only sassy escort when it comes to lack of payment. It's too true, for anything else service or products you wouldn't turn up with minus amount of cash for the transaction. Those kind of men are the type to be avoided and i've fully decided i wont even go ?5 under no matter what the situation it just leaves men open to take adventage when ever they please. I do feel that because of our job title men think psht i can take advantage when really, we can be the most independent and sassy women of our time XD

I used to see these kind of men when business was slow but I stopped doing it as I found myself angry, fustrated and used. They of course expect you to be enthusiastic as well but I am not, in fact all I want to do is punch their face.

I still get clients like this mostly over the phone and when I turn them away they say "Ok, other girls do it", I just tell them "So go to those girls".
But when some turn up and then they start lowering my price I get angry in a second and I dont wait for them to give the correct amount instead I throw them out in that minute. I give them an ugly look and make them feel humiliated. They try to treat me like they are on the market so I treat them same way I am on the market too so I am selective as well.

Yes it is rude and cheeky you were right to tell him to piss off. Wonder if he'd expect to get his car seen to for less than the mechanics price?

These men lack respect, just a cheap scav not a client.

I see them because money is money adding them to my list of hagglers. But wouldn't take a big drop for the same amount of time. The time would need to be cut. It don't happen to me much though.
TBH you'd rather have the money then just take it and get him out in 15 mins..he can't complain he hasn't paid your full fee. That and/or deny some services.

When I'm working in the parlour and I have a cheeky client choose me and chat about lowering the price to the receptionist for a while I point blank refuse the booking as I know they will no doubt be a boundary pusher too.

The other day business was slow and I had one of these clients come by. I accepted seeing him as money was tight but bloody hell how I didn't punch him in the room is beyond me. He was trying to order me about, acting rude, asking for more than one orgasm in a 30 min booking which was discussed before we got started. He also remarked while pointing at me I might add "Right if YOU treat ME right I might become your regular here you understand?" so I snorted "If you treat me with respect then I may consider seeing you regular!" cheeky twat.

when time was up he expected me to get in the shower and scrub him. I just held out my hand and said for money of course I would then he called me greedy. It turned out after bartering he had money as he went on to book another girl for 30 mins!!!! Made me so mad.
